When I went to Dr Kitaj initially, I was getting migraines 30 out of 31 days a month!! We did a calendar to chart and track my migraines along with a food log to see if there were any possible triggers from foods or drinks. She worked with me and tried different meds than I had previously been given by another doctor. Eventually, we got down to 1-2 a week, and eventually I was freed of them for several months completely. This was not an overnight process. This took years of paying attention to what triggered my migraines, which was difficult because there were several things. While under her care, I went through "female" surgery, weight loss surgery and more recently, Covid. My migraines went away following weight loss surgery, but returned with a vengeance after Covid. She has been there through every step with me to make sure I get the relief I need. Before seeing her (which is just at or just over 20 years now), I would end up in the Emergency Room several times a year when they would be too difficult for me to handle. Several of the standard pain meds were used. The only relief came from Morphine, which also put me out for the rest of the day. She is wonderful and listens to you, feels for you and is there for you!!! Thank you!!

I've been with Dr Kitaj for over 10 years now and she is amazing. She takes thr time to listen, problem solve and is willing to try different things to treat migraines. I send everyone I know her way because I trust her!

After months of debilitating headaches, several times a day, I went to see Dr Kitaj. She asked excellent questions, ordered two tests found the cause, prescribed a medication and I have been headache free for three months! I highly recommend this thorough, thoughtful, kind, professional neurologist. Look no further!

The receptionist is rude and non caring. I asked for my medical records a month ago. I have yet to receive them or a call. When I called last week asking when my records would be ready. The receptionist stated that their other people ahead me requesting their records as well. So it takes time. She hung up on me after I mentioned HIPAA. This is a very small office in Southbury Ct. SNo reason for my medical records not to be release. I called another physician asking for my records, they were mailed out immediately and I received them within 4days. Dr Kataj claims everyone has migraines and it was not my case. Because of the wrong diagnosis and rude receptionist I do not recommend this office to anyone.

Dr kitaj is an amazing doctor! I went to her as a last hope as I got 25 headaches a month. It took two visits in two weeks to solve an issue no one could! Wow she is an amazing woman who knows the field very well. If you suffer from migraines she is the hope you need. Thank you dr kitaj for giving me hope. The last 7 days I have been headache free with a minor headache. I’ve suffered from 10s everyday. Thank you!! From the bottom of my heart!!

I was a chronic migraine sufferers who suffered 25 days a month with migraines. In two weeks dr kitaj cured me. I have been headache free for seven days. This woman knows her stuff! It’d you are at your withs end she is for you. Thank you Dr. Kitaj for giving me my life back!!!

I suffer from chronic migraine, have been to six neurologists including two in NYC, and can safely say that Dr. Kitaj is my favorite. She’s on top of the latest migraine treatments and supplement and nutritional support. Treating my condition is complicated by other health issues but Dr. Kitaj is informed and is always one step ahead in my treatment plan. She is a true migraineur’s advocate, listens to my concerns, supports my suggestions and is a truly nice person. I highly recommend her!
