List of Discovery Mood And Anxiety Program- Southport's Reviews
My 16 year old son recently completed DMA’s PHP/IOP program for mental health. This was our third hospitalization in 2 years and we really not expecting much. However, the staff was amazing and figured my son out rather quickly. Rob, Lisa and Jackie worked so well with him and really taught him skills that he can implement in everyday life. They all responded to e-mails or phone calls right away, talked us through any issues and gave us updates frequently. Most importantly, they gave our son the confidence and skills to get back to everyday life. Rob, Lisa and Jackie were all very caring and attentive while maintaining the professional relationship required in a therapeutic setting. They were informative and helping in finding outside resources to continue the positive growth once we stepped down. We are forever grateful to each of them for helping our family heal and grow.
The staff cared about the kids but they did do anything about the kids did after the program. The staff that worked with the kids should be able talk to the kids after they did the program because some kids did have counselor outside of the program.
They staff that were there when I went there was nice because they cared about their kids and how they get better. They call your parents when you need something different or when you need a different care. They will send you to the hospital if you need to because they care about your treatment. The programs that they have are nice because you learn about thing that you might not learn in your life. Sometimes it is just you in the program and it is nice because you get the one on one with the staff. I love the staff because they really care about the staff about the kids because if the kids aren't doing that they are allowed to do they will tell you and your parents.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
