List of Bismruta Misra's Reviews
Dr.Misra and her nurse Fosama were AMAZING. on time, spent time, learned about my issues, made smart recommendations. Not critical and harsh. LOVED the appointment
Terrible experience. I was late and lost in the parking lot. Her assistant basically said I needed to make another appointment. Very nasty and rude. I owned a medical business and my people would never speak to someone like she spoke to me. I wasn’t setting a different appointment since the next one is August. I already waited 3 months. I was 1/2 home and then she said, the doctor could see me but her appt was there and not sure, when she would see me and I needed 40 minutes. The lady who books appts said she is available next in Aug. Office manager was not available. I could use a different dr. I wanted for 3 months for that appt and I was not using a different dr. That is who I was referred to from my doctor.
I have been a patient of Dr.Misra for about 7 years and she is absolutely amazing! She has been helping me with my hashimotos and Graves’ disease witch led me to become a pre diabetic. She gave me outstanding help when it comes to my diagnosis, now since i have my thyroid removed everything has been falling into place with my health. Dr. Misra doesnt treat you like a number, she gets to know you on a personal level and makes you feel great! Her and her medical staff are all wonderful and i will always continue to be a patient even if i was to move out of state. She has changed my health.. my life and for that I greatly appreciate her and thank her!
Dr. Misra is a superb physician. She asked all the relevant questions, presented all the facts and helped me to choose an informed course of action. I feel very fortunate to have her as my doctor.
The "help" does not return phone calls, has made me wait 10 minutes to pick up and hang up on me before I say a word and deactivates the ability to even leave messages before 4pm. So effectively, the administrators are fresh out of high school and cant seem to find the time to assist patients. You don't want to need help from this doctor because it goes through idiots.
She helps me so many different ways...I started with her because gestacional diabites and now she is helping me with Hasimoto Thyroid...she is always caring about how I am Feeling and engaging me to keep stronge in my treatment
You’ll find no better, smarter, or compassionate endocrinologist anywhere.
Dr. is knowledgable and able to explain needed treatment. She should realize that her staff is poor. I asked for a copy of blood tests-never received. I asked many times for bone density referral and was given it last minute. I was told I would be called about coverage for a treatment-never gotten. I am surprised she would accept this.
I recently received a copy of my medical records when I was switching doctors and was horrified about what Dr. Misra wrote about me. She (totally without evidence) implied that the daily headaches I suffered as a child was all in my head. Apparently I also asked "excessive questions." When I asked her to holistically reevaluate the number of medications and supplements I was taking from various doctors she wrote down that I was "non-compliant with medication" and condescendingly dismissed my concerns as me being sad about "not feeling normal." This honestly really damaged my trust with the medical profession, and I'm glad I'm with another provider now. (And yes, I agree that her office staff is amazingly rude to patients.)
Dr Misra asked me to "try" a CGM, stating the trial would be at no cost. The actual cost to try the product thru their nurse was more expensive than a doctor visit! My PPO insurance did not cover any of the $310 cost, despite having 100% coverage for other diabetes care. (Insurance said it should be part of the initial visit.) Switched doctors this year: my current endocrinologist does not charge to "try" a CGM. Misra also had inflexible office hours. No appts after 4:30!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
