My right ankle was severe mis-aligned which caused a great deal of pain with normal walking activities for years. Prior to meeting Dr. Cody, other orthopedic doctors had told me that the only option was to have an ankle fusion surgery. I was very reluctant due to its side effects which include losing much of the ankle flexibility. After the comprehensive assessment by Dr. Cody, she concluded that I was a suitable candidate for the total ankle replacement surgery instead. I am grateful for that advice. The surgery was extremely successful. I am now fully functional without any pain or loss of flexibility. During the entire process, Dr. Cody was transparent, empathetic, and caring. She was responsive with any questions I had post-surgery and during recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Cody, without any hesitation.

Dr. Cody & her staff was so very caring & treated with such excellent care. It was a long haul but I’m about to turn 70 years old & I look & feeling like I’m 30 years old. Pain free is what Dr. Cody’s surgical expertise has done for me. I owe her for my miraculous physical abilities that I now can do.

Dr. Cody is a miracle worker. I had bunion surgery in 2019 and the highly recommended Greenwich surgeon botched the job. He admitted it and said he would need to preform corrective surgery! I went to my podiatrist, who also does bunion surgery but felt that what the extent of what was needed to correct things would best to accomplished by Dr. Cody. She is the best - she turned a mangled bunch of toes into a normal looking foot again. There was little pain or discomfort. She is the best and I recommend her highly.

I had complicated bunion surgery in 2019 by a highly recommended surgeon in Greenwich and it did not go well. He admitted he made mistakes and want to operate again! I went to my podiatrist, who also performs bunion surgery, but he felt that what had been done was so bad that he recommended the only surgeon capable to correcting my foot was Dr. Cody. She is a miracle worker. I now have a foot like looks like a foot and not a tangle of toes. The recovery time was minimal with little to no paid. I wouldn't go to anyone else. She is the best.

"I WOULDN'T TOUCH YOUR ANKLE WITH A TEN FOOT POLE!" These were the words of a recommended ankle-foot surgeon. my 74-year-old ankle was in rough shape & I am so thankful that the surgeon was honest & recommended HSS, where i met the fabulous Dr. Cody. Over a number of appointments she was patient, attentive, compassionate doing a full analysis of my ankle situation mapping out the best surgical route. The surgery was at the end of July, 2020 & Dr. Cody guaranteed that my wife & I would be able to attend the Valentine's dance in 2021 & do our favorite dances, like RUN AROUND SUE by DION. In addition she guaranteed that I would be able to walk straight and have no pain. Since February I have been able to walk for over an hour, easily surpass 10,000 steps a day, attend line dancing activities and exercise classes where there is hopping, slight jogging, & skipping. In summary, I cannot say enough wonderful words about Dr. Cody. My ankle was a disaster & she fixed it. Hoorah!
