Dr. Bonheur and the AMI team are the REAL DEAL! The healthcare 'industry' (that's the first problem) in this country is broken, but Dr. B remains steadfastly true to the Hippocratic Oath. I had an inguinal hernia repaired just over a week ago, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the process, start to finish. Dr. B came very highly recommended by a friend, and he did NOT fall short. From the get-go, the office staff was consistently prompt, polite, and professional in all their communication. As a self-pay patient, I was expecting to be on the back burner, but much to my pleasant surprise, Dr. B actually called all the local surgery centers he uses to get me the best possible price. On top of that, Virginia in the office called me with an unexpected cancellation to get my procedure done a MONTH ahead of schedule. The day of, I was at SSC in Stamford at 7:00 a.m. and home in Fairfield by 10:30. Most importantly, hernia completely resolved, on my feet the same day, very little to no pain, and QUICK recovery. Dr. B even asked me what kind of music I wanted during the operation, anesthesia notwithstanding. Needless to say, FIVE stars and my strongest endorsement. Thank you Dr. B and Team AMI!!!

Dr Bonheur is how every Dr.should be. He is one of the honest ones out there. He is excellent at what he does and He cares about his patients , he takes the time to talk to you and explain. His office is pleasant and works with you to get you appointments when needed. So many doctors push you aside they don’t call you back and can’t see you for months, but Dr. Bonheur office does their best to accommodate and Dr. Bonheur himself is how every doctor should operate.

Dr. Bonheur and his staff are excellent. Professional and made me feel comfortable before the surgery.. My pre op nurse is on point making sure I was informed and checking up on me while waiting for surgery. Dr. Bonheur and the anesthesiologist with their assistants did a great job .

The staff and Dr. Bonheur are professional and pleasant. My surgery went very well and I was please with the follow-up and any questions I had were addressed.

I personally had a terrible experience with dr Bonheur. Not only he performed unnecessary vein ablation procedures on my both legs, which resolved in constant pain and my toes numbness, but gave me hard time to obtain my medical records. Two other doctors, vascular specialists, who I saw after unsuccessful procedures performed by mr. Bonheur, told me that both procedures were not necessary to start with and were done using wrong equipment. The result is very bad. Dr bonheur probably good in obesity surgeries, but most definitely not in vascular type of surgeries, where he doesn't even had a proper training to operate. Very unsatisfied!
