List of Rhett J Drugge's Reviews
I don't understand the bad reviews. People want to get treated for a medical problem, not for personal ones. My wife went to a few doctors including an Allergist and an ENT for her issue. She finally went to see Dr. Drugge who diagnosed her within minutes. He prescribed a medication and her issue was resolved. I'll take a Doctor like him any day. Many years ago she went to him for a skin rash. Just by looking at the rash and without tests, he knew what it was. It was resolved in no time at all. Thank You Dr. Drugge.
he deserves 0 star. This doctor recommended me to continue to take my expired medication. He should be stripped out of his license.
smart but crude and quite rude, asked me a question then told me to stop talking after about 5 words, didnt let me ask any questions, and gave me about 45 seconds in the office with him before appointment was over. i was on time and appt was in the AM, so i was confused by the rush. didnt even mention how or when to use whatever prescription he ended up writing me. just overall poor character, seems to lack some humanity and compassion
I have been going to Dr. Drugge for years, I find him excellent and have never felt rushed out on any occasion ever. His staff are always most polite and pleasant too. Dr. Drugge knows his stuff and that’s all that matters to me. He’s highly educated and I DO 100% recommend this dermatologist. I don’t understand all the nasty reviews on here, understand this is a doctors office not a spa to hang out in like other useless doctors offices. People should take their anger elsewhere, perhaps to a different type of expertise doctor. Highly recommended.
Dr. Drugge is only getting one star because zero stars isn't an option. I couldn't possiblly describe all my issues with this doctor in a single review. It was immediately apparent from my first visit that Dr. Drugge's only interest was getting me out of his room as quickly as possible. He told me he couldn't take care of a certain issue because "the weather wasn't right." (My replacement dermatologist was in utter disbelief when I told her his excuse for not treating it.) He had decided what to prescribe me within the first minute of my visit with no consultation whatsoever, but made me return a second time before he would write the prescription for me. By the second visit he had already forgotten who I was or why he had asked me to come. Despite rushing me out of his office, he found time at checkout to deliver a completely unprompted 15 minute libertarian manifesto. Perhaps if he had put as much thought and time into patient treatment as he did into his tirade on Gary Johnson, he wouldn't be getting a one-star review. After THREEE WEEKS of not hearing from his office, I got a phone call from a mail-order pharmacy which I had never requested nor even heard of. It was only after persistent phone calls over a period of days that I finally got an unapologetic excuse which boiled down to laziness and oversight on their part. It was apparent this office was in shambles from the moment I first stepped inside, but every time I thought it couldn't get worse he found new and creative ways to disappoint me. Avoid at all costs.
Dr Drugge may be a good doctor, but he is weird and totally odd. He commented about my weight and I had gained weight since the last time I went. UGH. Stay away, it was creepy.
Very superior knowledge of skin cancers, very thorough photo exam.
Well, I may be one of his first patients after he took over Dr Sheard's practice. He was a lad growing into an experienced doctor. Yes, I do agree that it is always a long wait and the encounter may be brief but he does know what he's doing. He may need to be a little more detailed in explaining to patients or have his assistant do that to save time. In general, I believe he is a very good dermatologist. We need to understand that doctors' offices are places of business too. Some doctors may appear to be very caring showing excellent bed manners but you have no idea how phoney some of them are. Overall, Dr. Drugge is a top dermatologist 👍
I was diagnosed with a pretty nasty case of Alopecia just above my ear. Dr. Drugge recommended a program that made the problem go away in its entirety within 5 months. Thank you!
I agree that the office is not a spa type of atmosphere, however, Dr. Drugge knows his stuff and truly shows he cares for his patients. The "strange" machine helped a colleague of mine by identifying melanoma. I have never felt rushed out of the office or that the office is more worried about getting $ out of me (this is in response to another google user review). I DO recommend Dr. Drugge.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
