I received a letter for a needed colonoscopy and endoscopy from their office. I called and left messages and emails multiple times (6 or more) and no one ever returned my calls. I even called the Tully Center to connect me and that didn't work. I gave up and called my doctor for another doctor. Trying to get a hold of them is like trying to call the white house. Forget IT. He may be a good doctor but there are others who have better staff.

Terrible administration. Took multiple phone calls to get an appointment for a colonoscopy intake appt. Finally spoke with a PA and was told someone would follow up to schedule the procedure. After three weeks I'm still waiting. Highly unprofessional.

I have left 5 voicemails and sent 4 emails to reschedule a procedure. No call back or acknowledgment whatsoever. I have had to seek care from another provider. Horrible patient experience.

Dr. Dettmer literally saved my life years ago when he detected a pre-cancerous lesion that required surgery. He is one of those rare physicians who has both exceptional knowledge and experience and a warm, comforting bedside manner. He explains everything clearly and listens attentively to my questions and concerns. He always makes me feel comfortable and I know that I can trust his judgment, which is a wonderful feeling in these stressful times. Dr. Dettmer truly represents the best of the medical profession and I am truly grateful for his kindness and professionalism.

I have been in pain for years since the procedure Dr. Dettmer did. I was in pain when I woke up. It felt like something was wrong. I told him that. He walked away. Not even a reply. I called and told him about the pain. He sent me for a test, told me nothing was wrong. I went to another doctor who told me my whole digestive system had shut down--and got it going again. But the pain persisted and still persists now, years later. I'm posting this to spare others the same excruciating experience. I curse the day I went to Dr. Dettmer.
