Very rude. I got lost trying to find the place, no one answered the phone for 15 minutes while I was driving in circles, and I finally found the place by asking people on the street. There was no sign saying podiatry OR the doctor's name outside. I was chastised by an employee for being late and when I explained I was calling and couldn't find the place she pointed to the sign. When I said it doesn't say the office or doctors name she told me "it says Hartford healthcare". I was upset at being lost and spoken to so rudely so I answered, "how am I supposed to know a sign that says Hartford healthcare is this doctor's office?" to which she replied "If you will listen I'm trying to educate you." At which point I replied that I was all set and left. I know one person's business doesn't mean anything to to a large organization but the response I received today was totally inappropriate and uncalled for. I'm a professional adult, teacher of the year, head of a science department, and just needed someone to see why my toe doesn't bend anymore. Thankfully there's a place in Norwich that can see me instead. From what I can tell from other reviews the doctor is awesome, I wish her staff wasn't so abrasive.

Karla Scanlon is a Wonderful caring doctor. Very personable and she explains what she will do before doing it She operated several times on my right foot and I have had no problems since. I am so sorry she moved from Glastonbury.
