List of Ross Louis Winakor's Reviews
Ross Winakor is a bigot, unless you are young and attractive. He should not be practicing medicine. He is an irrogant POS. He will not listen to your concerns, even if you are TERMINAL (and devoted your life to the health care field). His physicals are a joke, he doesn't even touch you. I will never forgive him for the pain and suffering my family endured under his care. I wish your two children are never disrespected in the same way you treated my family. I will never forget.
I love his son. His son is so cute and beautiful
Dr Winakor and his staff always treat me with respect and kindness. When things come up, Dr Winakor fits me in I think the Physicians Assistants in the group are great as well. Dr Winakor goes above what you’d expect from a Family Practitioner.
Dr. Ross Winakor will not respect you; he will release your confidential information to your new doctor when you decide to leave the practice (yes, my new doctor informed me); he will body shame you, call you names and demean you; he will also let your family members die. My mother died as a result of Mansfield Family Practice lack of care. No one from there office would see my mother after a fall at a local nursing home after numerous requests by the nursing home and myself; she was admitted to Hartford Hospital by ambulance at my request and died shortly after; these are unforgivable acts and hope for no other patients to experience his wrath. This man should not have a medical license.
He misdiagnosedy Mother, told her she was old and that old people pass out, lose weight, and have anemia. She had lymphoma...he wouldn't even admit her to the hospital. She died after much suffering because she was misdiagnosed. Always get a second opinion if you go to this doctor...and don't get "old"!
excellent doctor prompt and efficient service. He helped me when i had bronchitis and lyme disease both at the same time. I had been to several other doctors and the emergency room with no success. He diagnosed me within minutes
Dr. Winakor had been my primary care physician for many years until I moved away from CT. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new PCP.
We used Teladoc because it was earlybon Labor Day morning. My son had a third poison ivy outbreak, this time with a rash around his eyes. Dr. Winakor looked at the photos I had uploaded and called in a prescription for an oral steroid. No arguing, no second guessing. After a first day on the steroid, my son is feeling better and I am relieved that the process was so simple on a vacation day.
This doctor is the reason I ended up in the ER. He didnt listen to me, didnt examine me, sent me home with instructions to take ibuprofen. I was having sever attacks of chest pain that came and went with no apparent trigger. My mother ended up calling him and he lied to her and told her he'd examined me when he never touched me. In the ER they found inflammation of the tissue surrounding my rip cage and diagnosed me with costochondritis. A very painful disease.
He doesnt listen. He's the reason I ended up in the ER. They were able to diagnose me with costochondritis... an incredibly painful disease that causes awful chest pains and is so bad with my asthma. My guess is that he thought I was a drug seeking teenager. He was short with me and sent me home with instructions to take ibuprofen, didnt even examine me, my blood pressure wasnt even taken. When my mom called him back and told him I was on the floor in so much pain that I couldn't talk, he lied to her and said he didnt notice anything WHEN HE EXAMINED ME. He's awful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
