List of Uconn Health In Downtown Storrs's Reviews
Great service from the amazing nurse practitioner Melissa Breton, very knowledgeable and very kind. Only thing I would recommend before going is a jacket if it’s chilly. Due to COVID they have moved their waiting area outside but there are plenty of benches to sit on while you wait. The over the phone check in process is also very smooth.
My wife went to this urgent care -- they saw her for 5 minutes, told her there was nothing they were going to do and billed us 425 dollars... listen the the reviews -- DONT GO HERE.
I'm surprised people on here have bad things to say about this place. They are always polite to me and my wife and always got treatment for what ever we had going on.
I went to So many drs and specialists. They didn't know what was wrong with me. I checked here as a last hope sort of deal "maybe they can find something else thats going on" I was sleeping 20 hrs every night the dr here was the FIRST of six doctors to check the list of my meds I was on for any possible interactions found one! He told me to come off of the Depakote..... so I did....and I am back to sleeping my usual 7 hours a night. He knew what he was talking about even tested me by telling me to drink a coffee. When I told him I spend ten bucks of coffees daily thats when he starting working magic. He's a smart guy. And I feel like 6 months later I owe him a huge Thank you for listening and helping me out of Such a bad place I couldn't wake up and now I have my life back. Thank you
Very cold, unfeeling telephone operator. Come on! You are providing care! Be sympathetic!
I’m writing this while still waiting in the waiting room it’s been 40 mintues and no one will see me and I’m in immense pain and no will give me anything to help with the pain. Would not recommend going here it is terrible!
very nice and efficient
staff unfriendly and unprofessional. did not help at all. would not recommend.
i have been to this urgent care a few times for various things since im a student at uconn and don't have a primary care doctor up here. every single time they have been so unhelpful, rude, and aggravating. they don't listen to anything you tell them, and make you feel bad for even wasting their time of day for coming in. it is some of the worst medical care i have ever received and i will never be coming back here. treat your patients with a little respect if you're going to charge us an arm and a leg for a 10 minute appointment.
This is the only urgent care around my area and i’m extremely disappointed in the experience that I have had. I didn’t know why this urgent care had such a bad rating however after experiencing it myself I now understand. The staff is incompetent and treats its patients very poorly. The doctors neglect their patients as I have learned myself. I presented with a serious issue and the doctor told me to wait it out, refused to administer any sort of treatment and then showed me the exit. After I left the clinic I drove out to a different urgent care and there I had been provided the necessary treatment I needed and was unfairly denied at UConn Health Urgent Care. This urgent care only seems to care about money and denies it’s patients of the care they need.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
