I highly recommend Dr Girasole for Orthopaedic Surgery. When I first saw him I was in serious pain in my neck, upper back & arms. He was thorough in his exam & most important, listened to what I needed to say... I was told most likely I would need 2 surgeries. Front to back, & back to front. The first surgery was a great success & I did not need a second! I THANK Dr Girasole from the bottom of my heart for his EXPERT care & concern... I am pain free & have full range of motion!! I am grateful for Doctor & staff for their care & professionalism!!

HE DID AN AMAZING JOB WITH MY BACK SURGERY. HE MADE ME FEEL SO COMFORTABLE BEFORE SURGERY!! IM STILL RECOVERING BUT I MUST SAY ITS BEEN A SPEEDY ONE!!

hes the best sometimes he came off rough but he meant well i wouldnt go to any other ortho and i would recommend him,hes pretty cool

Dr. Girasole (along with a neurosurgeon he works with) performed 2 lumbar fusion surgeries on my spine in 2007 and 2013. I had excellent results both times, even though I was losing the use of my legs both times before surgery. There was a good chance I wasn't going to walk when I woke up after my 2013 surgery, but I am doing great and have returned to work full time. He is very knowledgeable, his skills are excellent, and he is very forthright when explaining the risks and outcomes. I had masses both times, but there was very little room for the spinal cord and nerve roots the second time. I highly recommend Dr. Girasole to anyone considering surgery on their spine. I trust him completely with my life, because he gave my life back to me...twice. Thank you very much, Dr. Girasole!!!

Awesome orthopaedic surgeon. Very compassionate and full of facts as well as expectations. Great bedside manner. Follow up appointments have been informational and all of my questions answered. I can't say enough about Dr. Girasole. He was tremendous!!!

Reading through previous reviews I know exactly what everyone is talking about. When I first met Dr. Girasole he came off as a man who just wanted to get the appointment over with and get onto the next patient. When I went into story about my back pain, as an 18 year old collegiate athlete, he abruptly stopped and simply said "No, just tell me where it hurts." After referring me to another doctor for steroid injections (because he did not want to cut me open for surgery if he did not need to) I received the injections and found no relief so we figured out the problem would be solved by surgery. He became very understanding of the pain I was in and become much more personable over the appointments I needed to go to for consultations with him. I figured the stone cold attitude is what makes any great doctor an incredible surgeon. And guess what? I'm on the road to recovery and have none of the pain I had before surgery. So if you're looking for a surgeon to hold your hand throughout the entire process and kiss your forehead, he may not be the one for you but if you're looking for someone who knows what he's doing and is EXTREMELY good at it. I would recommend him any day. He even makes the personal phone call to ensure you're doing fine after surgery. Never judge a book by it's cover, after my first time meeting him, I wasn't too happy with his "get up and go" attitude either but he saved my college softball career and bettered my quality of life and in the end that is the most important part.

Most sweet, courteous, educated, great personality, nice Dr. that I have ever had the chance to meet. I have been with him since 2001 and would never go anywhere else. When I first went to him I literally couldn't walk.....today I do everything....

I had an L5/S1 back fusion in 2002 and have never looked back or felt better. I made physical therapy / working-out, part of every day life. I owe my adult-fit-life to Gerisoli/Mintz & the habits their team fostered & encouraged. My wife & mother-in-law are also very satisfied with their respective neck fusions.

Dr Girasole performed surgery on my spine. He maybe arrogant n rude at times, but if not for him ..I would not be walking. He is an excellent surgeon.
