List of Lisa Talati Md's Reviews
Didn’t like her or her staff. I feel Kathy Nisbet who’s the operations manager for Marshall’s in Avon CT wrote on of the reviews below. She’s very arrogant and rude. She called my gf to do a phone screening for a job at the Avon store Kathy was so rude and unprofessional to her. My gf was so put off my Kathys persona that she ended the phone screening with her and my gf told Kathy “ I would never want to work anywhere where your managing “ I happen to be a cop/ detective and I also know Kathy badmouths the company, staff, and applicants. She’s bad news and I hope they rid her. If she feels she can treat my gf bad then she’s treating others the same way. M- Sarge/ BPD
Dr. Talati was the on call doctor for the night and her first response to the news of a family member suffering from post operative high blood pressure was “well why are you calling now?” Extremely unhelpful and highly unprofessional with her attitude and tone in response to a family in stress. I’m still unclear as to what her role is as an on-call doctor at this time.
Caring, compassionate and understanding are just a few words to describe dr. Talati. By far the best PCP I've ever dealt with. It's refreshing to have a primary care doctor who listens to your input and answers questions. I can't say enough good things about dr. Talati and the staff here at this echn location.
I went to this doctor because of the reviews. I was told that the first time I met her, that I have 20 minutes to talk to her, and that they don't prescribe some kind of medication. That was a total turnoff, I don't even take aspirin, so that was an insult, but I went anyways. She was very cold, and it felt like she was in a rush, shocker... On another occasion, I had to see another female dr there for some palpatations, and she said my EKG was a little concerning and I should probably get checked out at a hospital. I left there is a panic I guess and ended up in the emergency room. According to the EMT, the doctor didn't know what she was talking about because my EKG was totally fine, as did the Dr. in the hospital. They said probably had a panic attack because I thought their was something wrong with my heart. Never went back!
Since the retirement of Dr. Sharon I have been fortunate to have Dr. Talati as my primary care physician. Dr. Talati has consistently demonstrated outstanding people skills in addition to her background spanning a wide range of medical disciplines which she uses to make appropriate recommendations for follow up care by other providers. With utmost respect, Ken Dootson.
Unengaging and mechanical - seemingly going through the motions. Genuine interest in patient /dr. relationship lacking - super disappointing.
Very robotic and lackadaisical in the service she provides.
She takes time with you and gets to the bottom of the problem.
I have been seeing Dr. Talati for about 2 years. It is always easy to make an appointment with her office. She is very pleasant and takes time to talk with and get to know her patients. She is great about responding to questions on the web portal for prompt updates to prescriptions and needs.
I love Dr. Talati. She is the best doctor I have ever had. She cares, she explains everything in detail, she goes out of her way to make things happen when you are having difficult times, she is exceptionally smart and educated in whatever problem you may have. She has a way of putting you at ease and relieving fears you may have. Along with the entire staff at Vernon Internal Medicine, I have to say they are all wonderful, caring people. I would highly recommend choosing anyone there for your healthcare. It will be the best. I am so thankful and blessed to have found such a great healthcare facility.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
