Starling Physicians's Online Review Report Card

I went to this office today with my daughter for her annual examination. In the exam room, responding to the nurse's question, I mentioned that my daughter had very light coughing and runny nose about 7 days ago that ended 3 days ago, but I don't have any concern now as she was and is eating, playing, sleeping normally and no fever at all, and no one in the family has been exposed to a confirmed COVID patient in the last 14 days. Very very arrogant admin staff!They won’t tell you whether visit is covered by insurance although they verify the insurance but they will certainly tell you that “you’re responsible for the payment”.This was very family based office until they merged with starling physicians. Vernon pediatrics doctors and their team are very kind and generous. They did really good job in giving COVID vaccines to my 2 daughters. It shows their passion towards kids that they provided these COVID vaccines to all the kids even though my kids are not patients of Vernon Pediatrics.Thank you all the team members of Vernon pediatrics for doing such a great job.Vernon pediatrics doctors and their team are very kind and generous. Erica has been such a blessing. She has not only comforted my daughter but has been absolutely wonderful to me in time of need. Highly recommend such an amazing practice.

My daughter was forcibly discharged from Vernon Pediatric. When I finally found a new practice to move my daughter to they gave me trouble while trying to obtain my daughters records. A few months later I decided to follow by their rules and get my daughter re-enrolled. They gave me the run around, told me they would call me back, weeks go buy and I hear nothing. They then decided they won’t take me back because my child wasn’t fully vaccinated. I told them I’m trying to get her in so she can get vaccinated. The manager didn’t care, she didn’t want to explain she didn’t want to help and she wouldn’t let me speak to the person that made this decision. She didn’t care at all. They even made up a lie saying that Iv missed tons of appointments in the past which is far from the truth! It’s so disappointing these staff have zero regard for families or the needs of children. To make up lies just to keep my child away. I hope no one has to run into trouble with this practice because they will leave you high and dry! Find a different practice! Also the nurses have zero knowledge about vaccinations, they are quick to offer them but when I ask for more information about them they hand you a ton of printable papers. I even requested information of vaccinations by email and have never received it to this day. This was a month ago. Zero stars.

Long waits in waiting room and exam rooms, have left a couple of messages now to have the office manager call me to resolve a billing issue, 2 business days have passed and I have still not received a call back. My son was seen by the same APRN twice for a “cold like illness” in the span of 3 weeks to be told it’s viral and nothing she could do, after another week of not getting any better, he went to an urgent care facility where he was treated for a severe sinus infection. He suffered for almost 5 weeks unnecessarily because this APRN didn’t know how to listen to and properly diagnose her patient.

We moved to the area around 4 years ago. We didn't like the first doctor's office we had. A friend recommended Vernon Pediatrics, specifically Dr Lahman. I am so glad she did! My two kids (ages 9 and 5) have been happy coming here1) Minimal wait times (generally less than 10-15 min)2) Were able to see my daughter for an emergency on New Years Eve!3) Kind and empathetic doctors.4) Don't seem to "overtreat" things (ie make everything a disorder), but respond quickly to serious things (my daughter had a blood disorder they immediately and correctly identified)5) Helpful with my son's behavioral issues.We moved to the area around 4 years ago. The doctors and facility as a whole has the audacity it threaten my family over a disagreement in medical treatments.If you value your family, and rights as a parent, steer clean of this place!

My children were forcibly discharged from this practice because of the new policies implemented by Starling. It's so disappointing to have the doctors and staff be so dismissive and over valid medical concerns. I would give zero stars if I could. Even after being forcibly discharged from the practice they wanted to charge me for our medical records and gave me a hard time releasing them. I would never recommend this practice. It seems like all they care about is money not health. These doctor's took an oath to do no harm and they need to be reminded of that.
