I wasn't given medication until approximately 3:45am and I arrived at approximately 8:30pm, I'm diabetic and epileptic and received nothing to eat, no insulin or metformin and no epilepsy medication until almost 4am. This has happened before and I can't understand why it keeps happening but having seizures because of not getting the proper medication isn't at all fun I suggest you take a long hard look at your policies regarding that. I've already had to complain to the director of nursing do I have to contact the board of health to receive proper treatment? You're all supposedly professionals well in my eyes you aren't

I feel I am in good hands with Dr. Ghantous other than being a good Dr. he is a very nice Man. Dr. Ghantous operated on my wrist/heart and I have more surgery to come, I have no fear as I am in good hands!

Dr. Ghantous and his staff are top notch experienced, highly skilled and compassionate to their cardiac patients. They use all the latest data gathering tools plus listen to the patients observations before making a diagnosis and recovery plan. Even during the dark days of COVID quarantine they kept a steady office pace showing leadership and resilience.

When my husband had a heart attack, a friend in the medical field said Dr. Ghantous is the best. And he is. He treated my husband with respect, compassion and his professionalism is second to none. He is patient and explains the medical issue completely. Recently I had issues of my own. He was so very thorough and treated me with the same principles as my husband. I have confidence, trust and respect for Dr. Ghantous and highly recommend him.

I had a cardiac catherization performed by Andre Ghantous, MD, at Hartford Hospital on September 16, 2021. From start to finish, my experience was excellent. I kept thinking "well-oiled machine" because everything went smoothly and without incident. But it was so much more than that. The Cath team treated me with high level competence and compassion. Clearly they were following the lead of Dr. Ghantous whom they respected for his surgical expertise and empathic interaction with the patient & family. Despite COVID restrictions, there was good communication with my concerned family member which helped relieve anxiety on both of us. Dr. Ghantous gets 5 stars and more!

I was not expecting to hear questionable news at my routine follow up with Dr. Ghantous. He explained the need for a procedure calmly and clearly and told me why it would be unwise to postpone it. He immediately phoned my daughter to inform her of this, and he treated both of us with competent compassion. I trusted his judgment and was pleased with the staff at the Wallingford office and later at Hartford Hospital. He is clearly respected by those on his team and this translates to a positive patient experience. Coincidentally, a good friend who had serious cardiac issues is now seeing Dr. Ghantous in part because I have told her of my positive interactions & trust in Dr. Ghantous's ability and demeanor.
