Dr. Matza is nothing but mild mannered n kind. He will do my hip replacement surgery in February. I'm looking forward to being able to get around again once Dr. Matza does the surgery n with 45+ years experience I should be good to go....

Dr Matza is an amazing surgeon, and a fantastic guy all around. He literally saved my leg, foot, and fixed a really messed up surgery that left me with a dying foot. Fantastic guy. Excellent bedside manner. Friendly. And his staff is second to none. Although I am no longer a current patient, I will forever advocate for him. Best knee and hip specialist in CT! You can't change my mind...

My visit with Dr Manzo was not what I expected. I had heard such great things about him as a person and as a doctor. I found him to be arrogant and not very thorough. He sent me for blood work (bc my hands were sore and swollen) and I never heard from him or his office regarding the results. I called the office and it took him 2 weeks to get back to me. During our discussion he told me that he would like me to see a rheumatologist for further blood work as my ANA level was high, meaning an autoimmune disease, and would send a referral. I never heard another word from Dr. Manzo. Never received that referral. I am so disgusted with the way he gave such disregard to my issue. I have since found my own rheumatologist and endocrinologist and have found that I do have an autoimmune disease which is wrecking havoc with my body. No thanks to Dr. Manzo, I finally know what is happening.

I saw Dr Manzo for a chronic problem with my wrist. He diagnosed and treated me with great care and compassion. I finally have relief! I highly recommend him.

He is a great doctor and his staff is also good. I seen the lady's put up with some people that are really rude to them and they are nothing but perfectional. Just wanted to say thank you.

I give him personally, and his staff nothing but good ratings, he helped my spouse and myself for years and they are very professional and Dr. Matza takes each of his patients personally and treats and addresses everything swiftly. I know that I would always go back to his office is I should be in that area in the future.

Had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands at different dates. I was back to work the next day. Both hands healed magnificently. Great staff at Waterbury and where the surgeries were performed in Southington.

I have had 2 hip replacements by Dr Matza and have nothing but praise for his excellent skills as a surgeon, and not to mention that he has a wonderful bedside manner and never rushes you out of the office. He doesn't push you into a surgery and says that you will know when you are ready and that is certainly the truth. After finally using crutches and walker, I knew each time when I was ready for the surgery for a new hip. With over 40 years of experience, I certainly have the utmost trust in Dr. Matza and would highly recommend him. All the girls that work in the office are just as wonderful .
