Professional, helpful, and quick.
I have always been very satisfied but the West Hartford location has deteriorated over the past year. Large staff turn over, difficult to make shot appointments, staff seems overworked and very unhappy, and they still have not reopened on Saturdays. I advised the receptionist when he advised me of the only available time that I'd be coming from work that it would be tough to get there on time. He advised me it's fine if I'm 10 minutes or so late since just a shot visit. Well I was 13 minutes late and they refused to see me. He even told them he advised me it was ok and they would not budge. Multiple people in the waiting room said the same thing has happened to them. I would not recommend his location.
If giving zero stars was an option, that is what i would do. My sister went in for allergy testing. It was four hours of testing, isolated in an empty room. The last hour she was there, she was just waiting for the doctor to come in to tell her she was not allergic. She tried to just leave and have them email the results because she didnt have a reaction, but they made her go back in the room. I went up to check on her and the nurses were very rude and wouldnt even let me go back to wait with her. When the doctor finally went in to see her, he told her she was fine, and reacting arrogantly to her excitement to finally leave, he rudely said “take a deep breath.” She was crying the entire way home. Will never be going back to this place. Horrible and inconsiderate staff and medical service.
the staff don't like to tell you what to expect before your visit. when you get there there is no conversation it is all business and there is no explanation. if they mess up and you have a problem they will blame you for it. They do not hold accountability for themselves. what they do is tell you what you are allergic too and tell you what over the counter medications to buy
They're fine if you can get a hold of them. I've never been on hold for less than 20 minutes when trying to reach them. And there is no online messaging system so it's either phone or nothing. It's really terrible.
My fiancée had an appointment and was refused medical care. He sustained a concussion during an anaphylactic reaction and requested that I be allowed back with him to speak with the doctor. His daughter (8) was with us as well. We were informed that we could not be in an exam room due to social distancing. However, the small waiting room was completely full and everyone was within a foot of each other. In addition, there was a father there with two children who were being seen with no issue. My fiancée was in the process of calling his PCP for a new referral when we were informed by Amanda Phillips, the office manager, that the police would be called if we did not leave. We were also informed that we would be charged a no show fee. This practice is run horribly and shows no consideration or compassion for people.
Does not listen to patient's concerns. Very abrupt. Tankless. No people skills.
My first time to an allergist and I was very pleased. The office's COVID protocol was very safe. Dr. Abbosh was personable, clear, interested, and knowledgeable. She listened carefully to my history and proceeded with tests and next steps with clarity and addressing my personal comfort with Rx.
Awesome, prompt and professional!!
I found Dr. Abbosh to be very patient. All of her suggestions were logical and well thought out. I would recommend her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
