Dr. Neeru is a highly accomplished surgeon who has an excellent surgical team. I had cataracts removed from both eyes. The procedures were well explained as was the after care. Dr. Neeru is sensitive to the fact that cataract surgery is a frightening experience for a new patient and she put me at ease. I highly recommend her for cataract surgery or as a consult.

My advice would be to avoid this doctor. Her ability and/or willingness to effectively communicate with a patient is practically non-existent. Her punctuality is deplorable. Your wait time for even a crisis will probably exceed 30 minutes - perhaps an hour. Her bedside manner is also lacking. She can be rude, defensive, and it is difficult to get her to answer questions.

After three visits, no more. She * Is unfriendly * Scolded/lectured me about forgetting my drops (I reported forgetting about once or twice a month) * Asked "So?" (when I reported missing the last appointment because I work out of state) * Never asks a doctor's usual question: "How are things with you?" * Doesn't apologize for a 30 minute wait * Has the worst affect/bedside manners I've ever encountered in a medical professional.

Dr Dua was very professional and positive. She made time to answer my concerns and questions about cataract surgery. She is an excellent surgeon, and I had a very successful operation. Highly recommended to anyone with any eye problems.
