My experience was excellent. The staff did their utmost to make me feel comfortable and cared for. The facility is very modern, and there's a parking garage on-site. Park and take the elevator up to the office and you're there. Everyone was friendly and professional.

I had surgery in July 2021 @ WHSC. Everyone was super polite and kind from the first phone call for pre-registration to wheeling me out to my fiancé after my procedure. You can tell they genuinely care about the patients. For anyone commenting they could not wait for their loved one while they were in surgery this is a statewide Covid practice not just @ WHSC. No one is able to wait in the waiting room at all. I would have loved for my fiancé to be able to wait for me but he did not mind. There was a coffee shop as well as many shops right in Blue Back Square where he was able to pass time while he waited for me. As a healthcare worker myself I would hope patients would understand we have rules we must abide by so we can continue to be able to do surgeries. I would certainly hope people would not overlook the wonderful staff here to complain about a policy they have no control over. Thanks again for everything WHSC you are amazing!

Avoid if you can: they are disorganized and disconneted from the doctors' offices. Last minute surgery changes with different explanations from different nurses/receptionist. Sorry, but not much care or empathy there.

Made all surgery arrangements weeks prior and talked to the hospital the day before surgery. Come surgery day I dropped my wife off and was told I had to leave. Couldn’t even wait in the lobby as I was specifically told the day prior I could. Drove over an hour to get there. Was told to wait in my car for the 4 hour surgery. Absolute trash
