Todd David Applegate's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Applegate and his medical assistant, Sara are wonderful! Dr. Applegate spent a lot of time with me. He explained the areas of concern and made sure I understood what the problem was and what his approach at resolving it would be. He answered all my questions with patience. Sara has a calming presence. She treated me with respect and was a soothing soul to have in the room. I highly recommend this practice.

Awesome doctor!!!! I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Dr. Applegate takes the time to explain everything. Usually doctors rush you out the door, not him!!!

You saw me for the first time, regarding my back problem. Over a Video Consultation. I didn't really understand how you were going to assess my back condition without being in a room with me. Without physically viewing my issue. Without even the laying of hands on my back. Doctor, you didn't even ask me to try and walk for you. I remained seated for the entire appointment. I had been up in agony for days when we finally met. Do you have any idea what this is like? To become crippled overnight? To have my entire life changed? I can't stand up I can't get up my short staircase to my bedroom. I have to pull myself up stair by stair. The pain is excruciating. You denied my plea for help. You had your office tell me that there was really nothing that could be done for me. I understand that you believed that because I was a woman, I was more emotional than others. Really ?? Well, it's been over a year now. I can not walk without the aid of a Walker or cane. I spend every day going back and forth from old Saybrook to New Haven and back just for a sip of methadone, for pain management. Ridiculous To me, I've become pathetic. My 25 year relationship ended due to my problems. It's been so incredibly difficult to cope. To breathe. This has taken my Life. If you had only looked up at me 1 time. You would have seen the excruciating pain in my eyes. Yes it's there very exposed for everyone to see. I was a very active person. I was at the park every single day with my puppy. I would walk and run for hours and hours, every day. Do you understand what I'm going through? Would it have been so difficult to find out the reason why this happened? You don't just become Crippled overnight for no reason. I have told my story on YouTube and Facebook Hoping that, the next woman, won't be treated as I was.

I see Dr. Resnick on several occasions for resetting my body in the middle of workout programs and daily stress. She is always attentive to my needs and is familiar with my story to know how to best treat my problem spots. Very personable and conversational.

Great bed side manner,lots of knowledge.tells it like it is.and never says.there is nothing you can do .always presents options.great doctor

I broke an area of my lower back after a direct fall. I have never been in that misery. After going to the ER and truly getting the run around my PC arranged a call in to Dr. Applegate’s office. His staff was incredibly helpful and went way above to help me and were extremely supportive. From my first appointment Dr. Applegate was professional and presented my options and didn’t just rush out the door. He gave me time for me to really know how he could help me. The frame of time in healing has also been extremely accurate. I can’t recommend Dr. Applegate and his staff more for their continued support and care of me. Bonnie Russ

I couldn't say enough about Dr. Applegate,he listens,he's caring,and he's very compassionate.If he wasn't all of these things I wouldn't be going all these years to him.

I was timid and doubtful about my procedure with Dr Applegate I have to admit that after exactly 3 weeks today, how incredibly you have improved my life. I can bend down, do boring but necessary house chores and I can sleep and turn in my bed. Dr, Applegate is not waisting his time with small talks, he is just performing a wonderful job. I've had back pain for as long as I can remember, and been through more therapists, trainers, chiropractors, physicians, etc. than I can remember. Dr. Applegate was the one who was able to best help me with my chronic pain.
