This doctor should retire, NOW!He has thrown benzodiazepines at my family for YEARS without the expertise or knowledge necessary. He is a pill pusher and takes no time to get to the bottom of issues or refer people to appropriate experts.

I have had Dr. Pope as my Dr. for at least 20 years. Never a problem. Always friendly, always discusses options for treatment. I trust him implicitly !

At first I thought Dr. Pope was 'adequate'. A few years with Dr. Pope I came to realized that he is a 'people genius'. He knows how to handle patients who avoid doctors and tests. He exuded patience & tenderness. There aren't enough characters here to write how he's handled my avoidance of life-saving tests and meds. He is a true doctor for the people. (even if he's Republican - lol! :-) I love and respect him and his office - esp. Patrice Horan. Nurse Horan & Dr. Pope saved my life!

This is the first doctor's office to actually look at me as if I were a person and not just a way of making money. They helped me when no one else would. I would recommend Dr. Pope to anyone as he is the best doctor I have ever had. The nurses are phenomenal, they're very respectful and polite. They treat you like a person not a number and that's the best thing.

Doctor Pope is an amazing. In 2010 I went from being extremely health to being very sick. I had gone to my family doctor, The Cleveland Clinic, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Hartford Hospital, and several local "specialists". In 2014 I got to the point where I had to leave my engineering job of 30 years because of extreme weakness and fatigue. At the urging of a friend I went to see Doctor Pope. He is extremely personable and spent a lot of time with me during the initial visit. Totally opposite from most of the doctors I had dealt with before. He said he had an idea what I had but would run several blood tests to make sure. The doctor himself called me the next day and said "we found it". It turned out to be a very bad virus. Needless to say, I am indebted to Dr. Pope. I have my life back! After traveling all over and spending thousands of dollars of my own money, the answer was 2 miles from my home!

Dr. Pope has been my PCP since 1980. He is an excellent doctor, with a common sense,no nonsense manner. He is the standard to which other doctors should aspire.
