This office is very busy with different clients on the front desk. Last time I was there my appointment was not found. The person in front of me also wasn't found. I had been in the hospital a couple of weeksbefore and was told to contact them for a followw up. No one called me or anwsered my comments on my chart concerning my complaints. Needless to say I am now looking for a new Doctor.

Dr. Herrera took me in right away to examine my deer tick bite site and prescribed medication to prevent Lyme disease. She was efficient and kind.

Very thorough, takes the time to ask questions and listens. Bonus... Dr. Herrera speaks Spanish! Which there are not to many doctors in southeast CT that do, so my mom felt very comfortable with her. We were very lucky to find Dr. Herrera. Front Desk is helpful and nice which is also a plus! Very clean facility.

Dr. Herrera appears to be just doing the job. She asks the standard questions and enters the answers into the computer. She doesn't seem interested in what I already know about myself. She doesn't talk much and doesn't seem to listen either. She knows what drugs go with what symptoms but doesn't seem to understand the human part of "health care". Since I don't visit Doctors very often, perhaps this is what modern doctors have become. I prefer someone who will listen to my story before asking questions. I won't recommend her to a friend. BT

I think that Dr Herrara is a caring person. she makes you feel comfortable and she explains herself very well. She is thorough when she does an exam and listens intensly she just does not listen she really listens. i would recommend her being your doctor,

Arrived at my 11:15 appointment at 11. Dr didn't come in until 12:20. She was more interested in telling me the rules than getting to know me as a patient ( first time patient at this facility). She did a cursory exam and rescheduled me for another waste of time in 6 months. She then told me if I get sick I'll probably have to see one of her colleagues as she's generally booked out 3 weeks in advance. Nothing boosts a new clients confidence in you like being told if you're sick I'm too busy for you. I don't recommend this Dr.

Listens to my health concerns and addresses them effectively and empathetically. She has excellent bedside manners. I have recommended her to my family members. Her Medical Assistants are a good part of the team.
