I was taken care of by Dr Katzen on 01/10/23 for a serious medical condition in which Dr Katzen placed a stent inside my heart, without him I probably would not be here today. He explained everything that was easy for me to understand and honestly to my health into his hand for the best outcome. Very good and would recommend his care to anyone. Thanks Dr Katzen my family sends ❤️
Dr.Katzen is awesome and employees are great.
Having just become a new patient, I was extremely impressed with his knowledge of my medical history upon the start of my exam! Very personable, a good listener, attentive to every aspect of my health, not just my heart issues. I am confident that I’m in the hands of an extremely bright, caring physician!
This physician does not seem to care at all about his patients. He is horrible with followup, ambiguous with answering questions, and does not catch upon suspicious symptoms that could be warning of greater medical issues. I feel as if I am in the dark with him as my provider. He will not help you. Stay away please.

My husband and I flew in from Bend, Oregon the Thursday before Thanksgiving. That Friday, he had several episodes of "tightness in the chest" throughout the day and early evening. Around midnight, the EMTs were called because the tightness in chest became a full blown heart attack, and my husband was taken to the emergency room of Anne Arundel Medical Center. Dr. Katzen was attending, and inserted 4 stents in the right coronary artery. Dr. Katzen was very thorough with explanations of what he had done, and was patient answering any questions. He never seemed rushed, and was very respectful. We couldn't have asked for a higher level of care, and are grateful to have had Dr. Katzen as my husband's physician.
This doctor saved my life when I had a heart attack. I am forever grateful to him. I think he's an excellent doctor. I'm not thrilled with the front desk staff however, and when I left a message on the medication messaging my meds were never called in.

It was easy to get in to see this doctor. He spent enough time with me but i do not feel he listened. He quickly disqualified my concerns with his opinion. He offers me an accurate diagnosis through testing, with which I am satisfied. The office staff is very busy. I had wait over a month to get in for testing. The technicians seemed competent. If I have more concerns in the future I will find a different doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
