Dr. Abell did my surgery for breast cancer. He was caring and attentive. He is a great surgeon and I felt well cared for in his hands. I would recommend him to anyone who has this diagnosis. You do not need to be a woman surgeon to be thoughtful and compassionate for women who are fighting this disease. I still see him yearly and appreciate his warmth and dedication.

Dr. Abell was a godsend for me. He clearly understood the severity of my Stage 3B breast cancer and took plenty of time to explain my options. He had so much knowledge about my inflammatory breast cancer and was so kind and patient with me that I felt confident that I had made the right choices and had the best possible surgeon to deal with my problem. I had difficult to remove lymph nodes and a bilateral mastectomy. Throughout this process, Dr. Abell worked with my other doctors to smooth the way to a successful result. I am still in complete remission 5 years later, and will always be grateful to Dr. Abell for his kindness and skill. I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with breast cancer.
