Stay away from this doctor!! Prefers going to lunch instead of taking patients. We have a parking ticket to prove we were there on-time for one of our appointments. Worst customer service.

I'm happy to have Dr. Nelson as my daughter's PCP. His years of practice are apparent in his knowledge and thoroughness at her appointments, and I appreciate his gentle bedside manner. I never have trouble being seen by Medstar Pediatrics Tenleytown, both sick and well visits.

Dr. Nelson was wonderful with my 4 year old. We have been very happy with all the care we have received through his office.

Dr. Nelson was phenomenal as usual. The office made a scheduling error and told us we would have to come back in 2 hours for my other child to be seen. We expressed our frustration to Dr. Nelson who quickly remedied the situation and got both of our children vaccinated. He’s a true care provider and someone we always try and see.
