Dr. KiaNoury was terrific. She was very thorough, asked me many questions to better understand my medical condition, listened to me, explained various issues using accessible language, all of which inspired a great deal of confidence in her expertise. Dr. KiaNoury has excellent rapport with patients and that includes both a lovely sense of humor and a sincere effort to get to know them. I would certainly recommend her to friends.

Dr. KiaNoury clearly knows her stuff and she provides excellent care. During my first visit, she spent over an hour asking about me, my history, and my concerns and providing options. Other teaching hospitals usually leave all that detail to students. She never rushed me or talked down to me. She was so personable and "real", I left thinking we might be friends if we weren't in a doctor-patient relationship. I've never had that thought about another doctor. I've recommended her to several people who were not happy with the providers treating their sleep apnea. I will also say that the staff at the MedStar Georgetown Sleep Center have been incredible. The night of the study, they were patient and kind. I've since called twice and stopped by (at Dr. KiaNoury's suggestion) to get help with the CPAP. They've taken the time to answer all of my questions and to help me get used to this major change.

Dr. Kianoury is very knowledgeable and has wonderful bediside manner. She is probably the most genuinely friendly doctor I have ever encountered- and I've known many! I especially recommend her for patients who need medical documentation to received accomodations for work (related to sleep disorders).

She was very thorough in asking me questions about my insomnia and was able to tell me I probably had apnea based on a throat examination and some other questions. She ordered a sleep study and gave me some light, non-addictive meds and I already feel relieved.
