Dr. Tafara listens to her patients as well as she gives great detailed instructions on next steps in the treatment plan. I can also get in touch with her via the member portal by leaving a email message. Her office staff is very efficient, clean, and courteous. I would highly recommend this physician as a primary care provider.

Excellent. Appt on time; Dr Tafara was gentle, attentive and answered all my questions. She is amazing! The patient manager was also so knowledgeable and efficient. The lab personnel were wonderful. Happy about the whole visit.

Arrived for my appointment and was checked in, Only to be advised two (2) hours later that I was late. I left, and planned to reschedule. Frustrated!!!

It was my first visit with Dr. Tafara. She was awesome. I hate going to the doctor but she made it easy and her asst Lana was awesome. I even switched to have her as my new permanent PCP. Thanks for such great care.

Inattentive and disorganized office. Does not take individual concerns or circumstances into consideration. Had nobody covering prescription requests while she was out of the office for over a week. Typical MedStar. 5-months edit: They are at it again, refusing to refill prescriptions or allow patients to communicate with their physician. My pharmacy has tried for over a week, but Shanetta's response was that I can go to the emergency room instead of simply asking the doctor. This is the second time this has happened to me and resulted in me needing an emergency room visit to manage symptoms; in between these two incidents, it happened to my mother and she ended up in an extended stay at the hospital as a result. Yes, I am trying to switch providers but considering the wait time to do so is about four months, hopefully I don't die while waiting.
