Dr. Hedy Smith put me at ease during my initial appointment. She reviewed my medical history and carefully explained what she believed may be the potential causes for my issues; she listened to my concerns and explained the next steps. I did not feel like I was being rushed through the appointment. Dr. Smith followed up with me the next day to review preliminary lab results and to make adjustments on how we would move forward. I also found the staff to be pleasant, profession, and they made me feel that I mattered.

Simply put, Dr. Smith and her team saved my life. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Lymphoma, and fortunately it was caught early. Dr. Smith and her team devised a plan of action, gave my wife and I resources, and started me on the road to recovery. As of this date, I'm going on 3 years remission. I totally trust Dr. Smith and her medical team.

I’ve been sick since late 2021, and of all the doctors I’ve seen in the time since, Dr. Smith is one of the most knowledgeable and dedicated. While we’re still working to discover what’s going on with me, I am confident we will and I trust my life with Dr. Smith. She will never do anything that she isn’t sure she should.

My fiancé transferred to Dr. Smith in 2014 and it has given us a new lease on life! My fiancé suffers from sickle cell anemia and prior to Dr. Smith was always told she would live until her 40's and the goal was pain medication and just enjoy time on earth!! Well that wasn't enough so when we got transferred, Dr. Smith immediately reassured us that she will lead a strong and long life well into her 80's. She mentioned all these new found treatments and has been a blessing since. She's the best!!

I've seen her for years and she's a wonderful person but I'll be switching clinics very soon. They never contact you with lab result, put orders in for your infusions when they're supposed to, and when she comes in for your appointment she hasn't even reviewed your file! She will just expect you to tell you everything and say: "remind me again" the whole time! It's so frustraing!

My father was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. Not only did Dr. Smith educate me about what cancer is, but she did her best with my father on everything. She made sure he was comfortable and I was comfortable. She is very open and communicative. She is wonderfully caring and she cares as if she truly is your friend. Her energy is beyond this world and is truly amazing and comforting. I cannot ask for a better oncologist and me and my family is truly blessed. She is extremely knowledgeable about cancer. She explains very thoroughly and is very easily understand and she makes sure of that. She visited my father every day, a few times throughout a day and is on top of him, given his condition. I must agree with the review, a true Angel sent from god. Thank you very much Dr. Smith for all you have done for my father. :) -VM
