Cannot recommend Dr. DeBritz enough. Exceptional surgeon and his team is top tier. They were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Dr. DeBritz demonstrates the utmost professionalism and his work as a surgeon is a testament to that. After a tib/fib break and a complicated surgery, Dr. DeBritz did an amazing job and gave me my normal life back. Cannot express my gratitude enough. And Joe the tech is the best in the business! All around great staff and great experience.

If I could give this surgeon 0 stars, I would. I endured a severe traumatic elbow injury due to a hiking incident, which should have been operated on immediately! After my first appointment with him, his conservative approach to surgery was startling to me, as it was determined in the ER by an ER doctor, that I would need surgery. I thought it was a little odd that he didn’t want to operate immediately given the severity of my injury, however I went with it and trusted him. After my second appointment, 4 weeks after my incident, he still decided against surgery. At that point, I knew something was suspicious. I went with my gut and went for a second opinion, this time with a top hand, arm and elbow specialist. At my appointment with my new doctor, moments after reviewing my X-rays and seeing my arm, he was stunned and appalled that I hadn’t received a diagnosis for surgery, given the complexity of my injury. Turned out I needed emergency surgery which included, an entire radial head replacement, because my bones couldn’t be saved due to the length of time that passed, repair to my lateral collateral ligament, and a transposition of my ulnar nerve. If you suffer from a traumatic arm injury, DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! See Dr. Kessler instead.

Dr. DeBritz did an outstanding surgery fixing my broken ankle after a fall. He is a smart, compassionate doctor with extensive experience. I count my blessings every day that Dr. DeBritz was my surgeon.

My mother broke her femur in 2018 and Dr. Debritz was the surgeon who performed surgery on her. Very personal able and thorough. We followed up with him almost every year since her surgery. No problems. My Mom is just stubborn and won't walk when she is capable. I highly recommend Dr. Debritz!

I had my first surgery on my arm. I had the best experience with Dr. Debritz. Very respectful and caring DR. He is very compassionate. And his hands are blessed because he did a great Job with my surgery. His staff is wonderful. I felt very lucky to have him as a surgeon. At every appointment I felt his compassion and the respect he has for his patients. Now in days it is difficult to come across doctors who actually care. May god bless him his family and his staff. I hope everyone at this facility has wonderful Holidays.

Debritz spent about 4 minutes with me. Scheduled surgery and I never heard from his clinic, despite leaving countless messages. Finally heard from them the day of surgery when they sent me a message saying they would reschedule. Never heard back until 4 days before the surgery. Had so many questions about my femur and knee and again, he never called or responded. Just absolutely terrible treatment by his team.

I had an exceptional result from Dr Debritz and his team. I know every injury is unique as is every outcome. Mine was better than most who suffer a Pilon fracture (a crushing/splintering of tibia, fibula and high impact fracture of the ankle). It was a rough recovery. I was in a wheelchair for nearly 5 months and full recovery was probably 18 mos of hard and consistent work with a physical therapist and personal trainer. I’m not young (in my 50s and was obese at the time I was hit head on by a drunk driver). At three years post surgery by Dr Debritz, I ran a half marathon. Other than a slight problem with my ankle mobility that results in only minor limitations, my general health and well being are amazing considering the amount of damage sustained. I am forever grateful to this doctor, his team, and the amazing nurses and aids who looked after me at GW. I would highly recommend. He’s a busy doctor so if you see him in his office, be prepared to wait. He is dealing with trauma patients

No follow up. No return calls. Atrocious service. After scheduling surgery, never heard back until day of to tell me it was cancelled (never returned any calls when I asked for information about the surgery, including time and place). Breaking my femur was bad enough without being treated like I was invisible.

Dr. DeBritz is an excellent surgeon! I suffered a broken femur and he has performed 4 surgeries on me. Three things to know: 1) He doesn't prescribe a lot of pain meds, which is a blessing. He is saving you from addiction. 2) He will send you to physical therapy and you need to go. 3) He cares, but he is not about to baby you. Also, the staff is great and fills in when he is busy. Because again, he is a TRAUMA surgeon and emergencies happen.
