Operation went well. Doctor seemed nice before operation. Had follow up appointment after release. Was told video. On day of appointment which was supposed to be at 9:30 am. No response. After lengthy phone calls was told they are running late and the appointment would only be phone call not Video.Waited for 3 1/2 hours- no phone call. Left message I had to go out. After my return was told again doctor would probably call later. Never called - no apology - no follow up. Like my time is worthless. 2 days later now, still never heard from them. I realize doctors get busy, but to just not keep an appointment without any follow up or info on how to proceed further is very poor.

Dr Cohen and his staff are amazing. Very informative at the same time trying to lessen anxiety. You know immediately you are in good hands.

Dr Cohen did a wonderful job with the surgery for my mom. He told us exactly what to expect, what the risks were and the probable outcomes. Since, my mom's surgery in October of 2022 there have been four attempts at the initial follow up appointment that have either been not honored or postponed.

Dr Cohen is very personable, the team under him is very knowledgeable and professional. Explaining all options and the possibilities of each. As well explaining each step in the process and making you comfortable and relaxed about the surgery and through the recovery process in Washington Hospital Center and at home.

I am 100 satisfied with my surgery and the care I received at WHC. The staff from RNs to housekeeping were wonderful. Dr Cohen was very kind and concerned with my care.

Dr. Cohen and his entire staff are outstanding. I was admitted to the Washington Hospital Center for a multiple bypass surgery and the care I received throughout was phenomenal. He is a very skilled surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. Dr. Cohen is patient when answering questions and his practice is extremely organized. Upon meeting Dr. Cohen, I immediately felt at ease about his ability to successfully complete the procedure. Dr. Cohen’s staff is also top notch. The nurse practitioners are all very knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, and have a positive spirit. They always explained what and how they were doing while treating me. Most importantly, they explained why the treatment was necessary and listened to my concerns. I always felt like a stakeholder and participant in my treatment plan. Dr. Cohen’s administrative staff are equally impressive. They coordinated my home nurse and physical therapy program. The on call nurse was very knowledgeable, responsive, and caring. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Cohen and his staff. I highly recommend him if you are in need of a cardiac surgeon.

Dr. Cohen would answer and explain, if needed, any questions I had. His staff was the same. I would recommend Dr Cohen to friends and family without hesitation. From housekeeping to Doctors, I thank you all for the wonderful care!!!

Dr. Cohen is an amazing heart surgeon. Not only did he an amazing surgery, but he walks his patient through the procedure, takes time to explain the procedure, listens to concerns and addresses them in an understandable way. In addition, he has a great team taking care of patients after surgery.
