Jonathan Hwang's Online Review Report Card

Dr Hwang performed a RP on my prostate cancer in March 2022. I've nearly fully recovered with no complications and my PSA level has maintained at the correct levels. Dr Hwang is a skilled surgeon and I highly recommend him.

Any man is concerned about ED and incontinence following prostatectomy. I can report that after receiving treatment from Dr Hwang I literally experienced no incontinence and very little initial ED which went away after a few months. My PSA is undetectable and everything works. What could be better? Thank you Dr Hwang. I made the right choice in all respects.

I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer after monitoring my PSA levels for several years. When I had my initial consultation with Dr. Hwang I knew I had no reason to look any further. He’s extremely professional, attentive and accommodating via e-mail for someone who’s in such high demand. His support staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable and made the entire process from registration, access to records if needed for FMLA and the hospital stay completely stress free so all you as a patient are concerned with is recovering.

I had my prostate recently removed by Dr. Hwang using RP surgery. He helped me make the right decision to not only address my long term BPH causing difficult urination, but also address my prostate cancer. I had struggled for months to decide and had pursued other options performed by other doctors before meeting Dr. Hwang, including Urolift, which was a failure, and having to perform intermittent catherization daily. This was just delaying what was really needed, and Dr Hwang helped me to accept and move forward with what really needed to be done. I was in the hospital only one day and discharged with a catheter for one week as typical. Post operative pain was manageable, and I am recovering nicely. What is more amazing is due to Dr. Hwang's surgical expertise of performing nerve sparing RP, I had no incontinence and am able o urinate better than in the last 20 years and already working on penile rehabilitation. You will be making a mistake if you do not have Dr. Hwang perform your RP

Not to be dramatic, but Dr. Hwang probably saved my life. If you need a urologist, Dr. Hwang is your guy. Tremendously supportive, highly skilled and compassionate if you're his patient you'll be in the care of one of the finest physicians I've ever known. And, at 73 years old, I've met quite a few.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the middle of the pandemic. My urologist recommended Dr. Hwang as my surgeon. He performed a radical prostatectomy in September 2021. Dr. Hwang followed up with me periodically and always responded to my questions before and after surgery. Though I was told there are no guarantees following such surgery and it would take a year to eighteen months for any “activity” to resume, eight months after surgery, I am very satisfied with my abilities and performance. I highly recommend Dr. Hwang. You won’t find a better, caring surgeon.

He is the best you can get. He treated two of my cancers. I feel he saved my life not once but twice.
