The office is very clean and receptionist is very professional. She acknowledge your presence when u enter the lobby .The doctors are awesome made my life changing experience well worth it and I appreciate them all .

Dr. Afram is such an amazing doctor who cares about his patients. I did the surgery in 2013, lost over 150lbs, and kept the weight off until now (2020).People should realize that they have the put in the work after the surgery. The surgery give you a boost at the beginning but you have to commit to a healthy lifestyle and to your vitamins after that.

As far as I can tell, this office is essentially a middleman. The actual surgeon does not work out of this office. They send you out for everything. And they charge you a $750 "clinical fee" that is not covered by insurance for the privilege of being the middleman for your surgery. Additionally, Dr. Afram did not make me feel at home, describing the surgery as a "last resort", making me feel like I was defective or something. I noped right out of this and ended up going to a MedStar program, where I've had a much better experience.

Whoever posted that people get this and think they don't have to put in work is crazy. I was 471 lbs at my heaviest. Dr. Afram did the surgery on me and I lost a total of 262lbs. OH I WORKED. When life happened and I stopped working out I gained weight. Get back to work and lose it again. This doctor and his staff are awesome. NOBODY tells you that you don't have to work, no sane person thinks you don't have to work. This surgery is a tool and Dr. Afram is the best surgeon out there.

I had gastric bypass surgery with Dr. Afram on February 7th 2017. I have nothing but good things to say about him and his office staff. From beginning until now which happens to be almost 5 months out. Very little incision pain and not one complication afterwards. My starting weight was 240lbs. As of today June 27th, 2017 I am 190lbs. That's 50lbs lost. I also walk between 5-10 miles daily. My walking resume 2 months after surgery. I really could have started sooner and I'm sure I would be down even more. Anyway, I highly recommend Dr. Afram. He's the best in the business in this area. (E. Lowe)

I started this journey over a month ago.I went to the seminar and really liked Dr. Afram, however, here we are almost at the end of November, and I am still waiting for my surgery date. I am not understating what the hold up is. I have been calling his office almost weekly to see if I can get my surgery done in early December. My insurance already approved it. I am having the sleeve one done, so perhaps that is why there does not seem much of a sense of urgency. who knows...I am praying that I have my surgery date THIS WEEK, so I can finally let my work know when and how long I will be out. I cant give this review a 5 star as of yet. I am hoping things look better this week. I have started to wonder if I should go else where.=(

I had gastric bypass surgery with Dr. Afram on September 3, 2013 and it was the beginning of a new life for me. Dr. Afram and his entire staff were excellent with preparation before and follow up after my surgery. For the past two years, he has followed my progress which has been phenomenal!! I can't say enough about this Surgical Center. Dr. Afram cares about his patients, not only, from a professional perspective but a personal one as well. If I were to ever need his services again, I would not hesitate to become a patient of Dr. Afram!! To sum him up in one word, "OUTSTANDING"!
