Excellent endocrinologist . I have been a diabetic for 25 years and she is the best endocrinologist i have had. I know a lot about diabetes, and the applicable research and Dr. Cowen has knowledge of it all She is takes her time with her patients and makes sure they have are satisfied with the visit. She is one of the worst doctors I have ever seen! I went in to see her and she tells me that I “look” fine and I’m too young to have all of the issues that I stated I had. Well news flash, I may have “looked” fine to her but I wasn’t there to have my looks evaluated. I went to a “real” Endo and found out that I have several auto immune diseases. Don’t waste your time going to see her because I can promise it will be a total waste!

I absolutely agree with the previous reviewer. She was the ONLY doctor at Annapolis Endocrinology worth seeing - & now she no longer works there (not really all that surprising as the environment is hostile & totally unprofessional). I would definitely recommend Dr. Cowen, but NOT recommend anyone else in her former practice. Go see her in Baltimore if you can!

Dr. Laura cowen was the best endo I have ever had!! So sweet, caring, great bedside manners and really listen to your problems. The sad thing is she was the only one good in that practice. She is no longer there. If you call asking what practice she went to they won't tell you which is rude of them. Annapolis Endocrinologist doctors are horrible and totally rude and unprofessional. Dr. Cowen was the only one there that really care about her patient's.
