Dr. Boyle is the BEST. She is an incredibly good surgeon (my scar is almost invisible), she is super caring and has a terrific bedside manner, and she takes the time to explain exactly what is going on with your health (including answering questions over email). Every doctor and patient I've met who has had worked with Dr. Boyle agrees that she is terrific!

My doctor told me that Dr. Boyle was the best of the best, that she has been performing surgery for 25 years, teaches academically globally AND that she removes 99 percent of the thyroid as opposed to other surgeons who only remove 95 percent. I was fortunate enough (or blessed by God) to be her last surgery before she left for vacation in August.. Everything went as planned. Never lost my voice and was up and around the next day. She is the absolute expert to see for thyroid surgery, making my whole experience less stressfull. Don't hesitate to call Dr. Boyle if you have any issues with your thyroid as you won't regret it.

Dr. Boyle is a fabulous surgeon who combines excellent surgical skills with a wonderful beside manner. My thyroidectomy with Dr. Boyle went smoothly and my scar (5 weeks out) is already very minimal. Her office staff are professional, very pleasant, and on top of things--a rarity these days. Further, the entire care experience at GWC was the best I've seen anywhere and I have been to the top medical centers in the country with ill family members over the last couple years. GWC is the top thyroid cancer center in the country in my opinion.

I went to numerous Doctors to conduct my Thyroidectomy in 2010 and Dr. Boyle happened to be added to the list, since I had heard WHC is very knowledgeble when it comes to thyroid cancer and I also read that Dr. Boyle was an amazing Doctor, who a barely noticeable scar (which was a big deal for me in the beginning). I knew Dr. Boyle was going to do my surgery within the first couple of minutes of speaking with her, which I didn't feel with any of the other 3 doctors I had met with. Dr. Boyle is an excellent surgeon, very knowledgeable and personable. If I had to do the surgery all over again, I would hands down go to Dr. Lisa Boyle. Please know I took the time to write this review because, I at one time was searching for a doctor to do my surgery and so I'm so glad I found a good one.

Dr. Boyle is terrific - knowledgeable, skilled, utterly without arrogance or pretense, friendly and open in her dealings with you. My only complaint is she sometimes isn't so quick to return a phone call. Still, highly recommend her.

I recently had a thyroidectomy done by Dr. Boyle. I cannot say enough positive about her and her staff at Washington Hospital Center. I had to wait a couple of months for my first appointment, which I decided to do because I wanted to be in the care of someone with her reputation. After that the process went quickly. She answered all of my questions patiently and intelligently. Her office staff was caring and professional. My surgery went without a hitch. I have recovered easily with a small scar that is already fading nicely. I felt completely confident in the care of her and the other doctors at Washington Hospital. Dr. Boyle's follow up care has been outstanding. I always knew what was going on, and when I had a question it was answered immediately and fully, by phone or email. I had to wait a long time once in her office, due to a an unscheduled patient who needed her time. I was ok with it because I was glad to see she took the time to take care of someone who needed her. Highly recommended surgeon!
