Dr. Alkhatib has been my primary care doctor for almost four years now, despite not being the cheapest or most preferred by my insurance company. She is on-time, she is warm, she is friendly and funny and kind, she laughs at your jokes, she is compassionate and empathetic. I have never had a better doctor - and I just moved, so I have to leave her care which makes me very sad. Finding another doctor who is as intelligent, caring, patient, and real (who also accepts insurance) will be very challenging. Do go see her if you are in Washington, DC and looking for an excellent doctor who you will trust and admire and enjoy being around.
