Dr. Sylvia R. Medley did not explain lab results or medications she prescribed. The worst physician encounter in decades. Announced my lab results while standing in an open door way so anyone could hear. Lab results DID NOT INCATE what the physician diagnosed.

I love the facility,it nice and very clean the receptionist was very professional. Dr Downing very good listener kind ,caring for her patients and superb bedside manner for her patients…… I love Medstar. I wish I had her for my pc before I look for a doctor elsewhere. Thank you Dr Downing

Since I started as a new patient with MedStar, I rarely have to wait long before I am called back for my appointment. As a new patient of Dr. Sistrunk, I was anxious and nervous about how this relationship would work. If she would provide me with the service needed to get me on the right track with my health. Sistrunk did absolutely that! and she continues to do so. I went from needing three types of medication for my health diagnosis to now only taking one. Buy-in is key and I am definitely sold! Sistrunk hold me accountable and praises me when I have been taking ownership of of the instructions provided by her to get me on the right track for a better me as I get older. I take pride in preparing for our appointments, I come on time, I dress nice (she always compliment me on my shoes, which is nice :). She establishes a rapport with me to the point where I am excited to tell her about the progress that I have made in my professional life (She congratulates me on that as well). I can go on an don about her, yet i believe whomever is reading this get the picture. Please share with her cause I usually don't share this with her during our meeting as we are getting down to business. When you have the support, you become more confident in your success. I had a great experience at MedStar Med Group at Navy Yard. I am a new patient and left feeling great. From the time I walked in until I left. The staff at the front desk was kind, patient and greeted me (everyone) with a smile and kind spirit. They checked me out with the same smiles and kindness. I saw them handle elderly clients with such care & support. The medical team - from nurses to techs to the doctors - were all professional, timely and had great customer service. Dr. Downing is AMAZING and her nurse Tameka was great too. They both took such care and time with me. I didn’t feel rushed and I didn’t feel forgotten. Kudos to the entire team. I hope that whatever they are doing to ensure strong professional service continues. Thank you for all you do and providing such a great first experience.

A very happy place. Everyone in the office has a wonderful attitude. All is helpful. They work with you with a smile and a caring attitude and they actually give you the impression that they love the work they are doing.
