Wonderful care.
Wonderful care.
I would advise against. I've been to her for 3 visits over 30 years just to check my heart. Each time she was disinterested, curt, and uncommunicative. Must be a son or relative who does the ECG. He is unprofessional, wearing street clothes and leaving me feeling very awkward when I'm on the table exposed while he's applying the sensors. No professionalism. She told me my EKG was normal when she handed me the printed copy. I looked at it when I get home and it says ABNORMAL with some item scribbled out. What am I supposed to make of this? She never really ended the appointment. She just told me to get dressed and went into the staff room to get her lunch. Never, never again.

I have been in Dr. Davenport's care as my primary cardiologist for twenty-three years. She is tops in her field. She has a warm and friendly demeanor and she's thorough in her patient care. ( She found the blockages in my heart that led to immediate bypass surgery performed by Dr. Bryan Steinberg. ) I would highly recommend Dr. Davenport for anyone looking for a top rated cardiologist.
I was a patient in Dr. Davenport's office for years before her PA left the practice. Dr. Davenport's office (the PA) handled my pacer interrogations, which took place remotely at 3 month intervals, or every 6 months in-office. I never really saw Dr. Davenport at any of my visits, but I was fine with that because she had a great PA who made me feel like I was receiving a good level of care.Fast forward to last year when the PA departed; I started receiving monthly invoices from her practice.. for the remote pacer interrogations that were supposed to be every 3 months! After several hundred dollars in co-pays of this nonsense (I never did receive a bill until they were all batched out in one 4-month increment, or else I would've put a stop to it), I gave her billing staffer a call to clarify.. she essentially told me that if Dr. Davenport codes/notes that she's done "work" on my behalf, she would process an invoice for it + if I wanted to change the frequency, I'd need to chat with the good doctor. Well, Dr. Davenport never did deem fit to give me a call back, or respond to my emails more than once, in which she dismissively asserted that "monthly interrogations" were standard. I've since found another cardiologist with whom I'm better aligned as a patient.. and subscribes to the actual 3-month standard.
Dr Davenport is a great doctor. I first “met” her when she saved my life 5 years ago after my heart attack. Since then, she’s been my cardiologist. She says on top of the most recent medical literature (in numerous fields, not just cardiology), she does NOT rush her appointments, and she listens. I strongly recommend her. Jeff (Chevy Chase)
I can’t speak more highly about Dr. Davenport. Common sense combined with an incredible knowledge of medicine. She actually wrote me a a note when my mother passed away (mom was also a patient). The thing was she clearly cared. No one else bothered to write a note. My brother says they should clone Dr. Davenport, she is amazing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
