I have been seeing Dr. Janicic for over 15 years. She is by far the best provider!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Janicic and highly recommend her as a provider. She really took the time to learn my medical history and listen to all of my questions. I left the appointment with a good understanding of my condition and my medical plan moving forward. She is very easy to get in touch with and responds within an appropriate amount of time. My appointment was virtual and I had no problems with my connection or in understanding over the computer. Excellent provider!

Dr. JANICIC has been my endocrinologist for 15+ years! Dr. J. is very professional, an exceptional communicator that always conveys care and concern! During my appointments she listens thoughtfully, and provides clear concise responses! I know Dr. J. has a huge patient load and also is a professor at Georgetown University but one never feels rushed or as though anything else matters except the appointment and communication exchange that occurs at that moment! She is very responsive through the MedStar patient portal as is her assistant the lovely Latasha!

Dr. Janicic was dismissive and condescending when I told her what I was experiencing . I had labs run and once the results came in she didn't contact me to discuss what they meant even though some things came back out of range. I had to send her a message asking her what they meant and what I should do. She didn't respond to my email with a personalized message/answer my questions but attached a patient letter which was just the same results I could already see in the portal noting "this is high" "this is low" which I could also already see in the portal.

Dr. J. consistently successfully monitors & evaluates my thyroid medication levels to perfection and in perfect balance with all the accompanying lab work factors when one's thyroid has been removed! I visited Dr. Janicic-Kahric once and I never will go to her again in the future. She was not a great listener nor a good doctor. She missed some important lab test orders. I was taken aback by her bullying comment, which was not related to my health issue.

It’s clear she’s very knowledgeable in her field, but her assistant spent loads more time conversing with me than she did — and I could see why. When she finally arrived for the last few minutes of my appointment she was very impatient and condescending with me. Interrupting and practically yelling at me, she told me to just trust her and I said I wanted to understand my situation better so I can be proactive in my health (which was why I was there - for a 2nd opinion and some advice). She basically replied that it would be hopeless to try to get me up to speed. After she marched out her assistant took a few extra minutes to explain things to me and for that i’m grateful. Dr.Janicic did give me a couple of options that I’ll bring up to another endocrinologist, but she also sparked further questions which I wouldn’t dare go back there again to ask her. I didn’t deserve being treated like an idiot, especially with the progress I’ve been making.

I have been a patient for 10+ years! I meet with her about every 3 to 4 months to review my thyroid medications as well as other lab work aspects I'm being treated for! The stability of my thyroid condition and other lab scores are possible because of the superior expertise of Dr. J. and also because of her personality, energy, communication style inspiring - she is a fine-tuned exceptional motivator!
