List of Promenade Primary Care's Reviews
Thanks to all of you, and especially Kelly. I'm afraid I have not been able to find a health care provider out here because your shoes are much too big to fill. Kelly, you are an exceptional NP, a good friend, and the care you give, the knowledge of specialists you referred me to, and the the patience you have shown to me as well as your skilled diagnosis is in all casesremarkable.
I’ve been in DC for four years and have had to deal with doctors who only see me for 5 minutes and dismiss my concerns. I also had to have several referrals to other areas.Promenade Primary Care and the Kelly Goodman Group are different! I love my services. A complete one stop shop. They are ready to take me the same day if they needed to. So glad I found a quality care provider! Will keep going back for sure
Do not waste your time!Lisa was phenomenal! She always answered questions, addressed all of my concerns and was attentive to all my needs. No concern was too small for her. If you look at the reviews they are all about Lisa who is no longer there! She is no longer on the schedule and the newer doctors there are worthless. I went for an annual wellness exam and was in and out in 20 minutes compared to my 60-90 min one with Lisa who went through my whole chart discussing all my concerns. As someone who is 31 and considered to be young and healthy it is still important to be able to talk to a doctor who doesn't dismiss your concerns. I.e me saying I would like to look into a mammogram as friends my age have gotten cysts and the answer is "mammograms aren't needed til 50"!! Didn't even exam my breasts. Or my second one, maybe some preventative measures to have a healthy colon and the answer is "colonoscopy aren't done til 40." After two dismissals, in the first 10 minutes, what more is there to address besides the only concern of the doctor, which seemed to be the flu shot.Save your premium money and go elsewhere, where someone will really take the time to listen and address all your concerns!
Lisa Lindstrom is who made this practice stand out and the concierge fee was worth it because of her exceptional care. It seems she is irreplaceable. She was a partner in care vs a dictator. She took as much time as it took to answer all questions and concerns. She went the extra mile often and she had the curiosity, knowledge, and experience of someone committed to keeping up with the leading edge of health care. And she listened to and respected the reports of her patients. She's a big loss to this practice- other practitioners could have learned a much from her.

My visit far exceeded my expectations for a PCP! I have been searching for a provider and Promenade is the first place that feels like a great fit! I was warmly welcomed in even though my first visit was a sick visit. Kristy is personable and very thorough and the time she spent with me wasn’t rushed. I know I have found a place where my concerns will be heard and practical steps will be taken to resolve/treat any health issue and am confident in her knowledge and professionalism.
Great care and service. Lisa answers all your questions and takes time with you. Lovely office space.
I had no problems during my visits with Lisa last year. Both her and her office assistant are actually very pleasant people who make you feel at ease (and not rushed like other doctors might - most likely partly having to due with it being a newer location so there possibly was more time to be able to so) . However, soon after I was slapped with a bill/fee that was supposed to be covered by my health insurance. After speaking with them, they found that Lisa had coded something incorrectly for one of my visits and simply needed to correct it and resubmit. After communicating this with her assistant, it seemed almost impossible to reach Lisa all of a sudden and I had to make multiple phone calls and even a visit to the office following up to ensure that they corrected this mistake. Every time I called, it seemed like little to no progress was made, if I could reach them at all. After MONTHS they finally said they had fixed it and I no longer received notices requesting payments in the mail so I assumed everything had been resolved...until a couple weeks ago (this is a YEAR AND A HALF LATER) when I received the same bill, but this time from a collections agency. They were kind enough to reduce my payment given the situation, however they said that it may have already dinged my credit. If a little extra attention during my visit is traded off with neglect when it comes to billing or correcting mistakes, I think I'll pass.
Lisa Lindstrom is the best Dr I have ever had. She listens, cares, and doesn’t give advice until she asks all the key questions. She listens to your input and builds a plan that works for both of you! . Even on day one she made my feel comfortable! She discusses her plans for you and allows you to be a part of the process! My heart is broken no longer being in DC for a few months and having to find a temporary Dr in another State. Lisa is polite, real, willing to hear you out, and goes the extra miles to make sure you are doing as great as you can be! She has my highest recommendation! She isn’t a typical NP she’s a expert with extensive experience that takes the time to work with you on what you need! She has been a blessing to me!
New to the area so had to find a new Primary Care Doc and this group was highly recommended on google, yelp and a few others so called them for an appointment. They took my insurance and got me in the next day which was very nice. Their staff explained how the practice works up front before making the appointment which was nice. I arrived a few minutes early and to complete the new patient paperwork and it was refreshing to be greeted by a very polite and professional front office staff. As soon as I completed the paperwork I was called back to the docs office and it was actually prior to my appointment time which is almost unheard of in a medical practice.I saw Kelly who is somewhat new to the practice herself and she was very informative and professional. She answered all my questions and unlike docs I've seen in the past didn't try to rush the appointment along. There were only two things that I thought about marking them down on and that was the air conditioning in their office didn't seem to be working so it was a tad warm. The second was it seemed that they shared space with a dental clinic. Again, not a huge deal and that's why I still gave them 5 stars. If you are looking for a new doc might be worth giving this practice a shot.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
