We have been patients for about 10 years and have been satisfied every time. The doctors are all amazing and caring and the staff is top notch, especially with insurances and helping you understand your benefits. I recommend this practice to everyone I know.

Dr. Allen has been my eye doctor for many years.  He also treated my husband.  I believe that he was instrumental in discovering diabetic retinopathy in my husband and helped him to maintain his vision.  I continue to see Dr. Allen and he is both thorough and personable.  I would highly recommend him.

I have been under Dr. Allen's care for over 10 years.  I had five issues that needed attention - two of which were made worse by prior practices in my area.  Dr. Allen listened, tested, confirmed, advised, and recommended methods for successfully treating me.  He worked with me until we found the right lenses and correct medication.  I found him to be professional, personable, patient (no pun intended), and available.  The staff is also equally impressive - especially Misty.  She performed most of the detailed testing.  Her nature made the evaluations both easy and comfortable.  I highly recommend.  For something as essential as correct vision, Dr. Allen is my first choice.

I have been going to Dr. Allen's for the last 4-5 years. I had a checkup the other day and was pleasantly surprised to see the change in atmosphere that came with the new front office staff. The new secretaries were kind, quick, and informative. Very impressed. As usual Dr. Allen is precise in his measurements. I highly recommend this business!

I agree with E.S.!  There is no way I can even review any stars!  The staff in Chantilly, Va. is not helpful at all!  The head person was down right rude---they all act like they hate their job!  When I tried to get an appointment for discomfort, I was told, I couldn't get in till the middle of September, and this was the beginning of August; so I would of had to wait at least a month or longer to get in!  I wasn't happy with my comfort of the contacts or the comfort of my glasses.  But rather than being concerned and hearing me, they were going to make me wait!  I agree with everyone's comments about the front desk, and how expensive they are!  Never had I paid this much for my contacts!  There is too much rude behavior, arrogance, and wait time for me to continue at this office!  They have too many patients, and you fill like a number, and not important enough to get you in to be seen!Anonymous

The doctors, staff and opticians are by far the best around. I have a large family and have had the pleasure of seeing multiple doctors and engaging with the staff at different times and have bought glasses as well, each of my experiences have been great, keep up the good work!!!!

Hands down the best optometrist I have ever seen. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and caring, they made the visit very comfortable. Dr. Allen was very attentive and never made me feel rushed. I highly recommend this office.

I have been repeatedly overcharged at the Ashburn office until I challenge my insurance benefits and then it is magically reduced. My husbands' glasses were over a week later than promised and he had a problem after he received them and had to have them redone. I asked to speak to my doctor following my 2/1/13 appointment and was told he was running late and could not see me. This was immediately following my appointment which he was late for. I left a message on 2/1/13 at both the Ashburn and Chantilly office requesting Dr. Allen to call me regarding the problems my husband and I have encountered in the Ashburn office and to date he has not returned my call. I would not recommend this office and if you do, please verify your insurance benefits before going to validate what you are being charged.
