Rui Lu's Online Review Report Card

I cannot underscore enough what everyone already said- the staff at this office are completely incompetent. There is no way to talk to anyone there besides showing up and waiting 30 minutes. They surprised me with a huge bill for out of network lab work that I didn’t know about. I tried to call to talk to them about it. No response. I tried to cancel my second appointment with them and left multiple voicemails to do so (because there’s no option to speak with someone directly) but no one ever called me back. Eventually I assumed they had just cancelled it, then on the day off the appointment I got a text reminding me about my appointment. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Separate note to say that Dr Rui Lu himself seems to be a wonderful doctor, but his staff have completely ruined the experience and I will not be returning.

The offce staff is unprofessional, Dr. Lu Rui is a great doctor. Please be prepared to deal with the front office person ghetto at its finest. I know he has lost many patients. If not he just lost one.

I've known Dr. Rui for over 20yrs and he's awesome in his field of knowledge, experience and wisdom!!

The offce staff is unprofessional, untrained has zero concept of time management, and no customer service. The staff is standing around chatting about current social media events etc. and ignoring waiting clients with masks on.

Unsatisfactory. Super tiny office always crowded. The wait is long and Dr Lu has only spent less than 10 minutes with me if that long. He is very aloof and has no bedside manner. In about a year of seeing me, he has never touched me to listen to my heart or any other examination. He really doesn't seem to care about me as a patient.

Dr. Lu is one of the best doctors I’ve met so far. He cares your medical situation and listen to what you said.

DR. LU WAS ONE OF MY MOTHER'S DOCTORS AT WHC. I REALLY FELT LIKE HE GAVE MY MOM THE BEST CARE. HE IS ALSO MY AUNTIE'S DOCTOR. AND NOW I'M SEEING HIM FOR MY HEALTH NEEDS. I FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE WITH HIM AND I TRULY TRUST HIS OPINION. KIM IS ALWAYS PLEASANT AND ENJOYS HER JOB🙏🙏

Five minute visit after a long wait; he didn't ask about symptoms but told me I didn't have symptoms of a thyroid disorder. My PCP referred me to him, and I asked why I shouldn't just get testing before the appt. She pointed out the doc might do more than just a blood test or ultrasound because the diagnosis process was complex and could have led elsewhere. After the appt, he ordered tests. He told me my symptoms didn't matter because only the tests did. No test results yet!
