I saw Dr. Sarah Boutwell in September for a physical. She did a minimal exam, and spoke at length about diet --more like a monologue than conversation. I was charged for a co-pay when I should not have been because she claimed she did more than she actually did. My record showed results for exams she had not actually performed. I do not recommend her at all.

She was my doctor for the past few years, and for the most part, I was very happy with her. She was quick to get back to me with test results and gave thorough explanations where needed. Only once did she slip up. A CT scan showed a small nodule on my left lung. The radiologist recommended follow up in 6-12 months. That was 3 years ago, and there was no further examination. The last time I saw her, in January, I told her about a pain I've been having in that area. She dismissed it as me being out of shape. She recently relocated to Virginia, and in the month prior to her departure, getting prescriptions refilled was a problem.

Dr. Boutwell is great! She is kind and takes her time with you and really listens . I've never felt rushed and feel very comfortable with her and I'm a chicken

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Boutwell as did two of my friends who went to her on my recommendation. Her follow-up was good for my bloodwork results as well.

I feel she is a horrible doctor with extremely poor manners with her patients. She is literally the prime example of a physician that only sees her patients as a number and dollar amount. I am currently seeking a new PCP, because I was placed under her care when my original physician left and it's been terrible every since. She takes forever to schedule an appointment and is always distracted when she's with a patient.

For me, Dr. Boutwell just isn't thorough enough and she always seems to make assumptions on how I'm taking care of my self than actually ask me what I'm doing.

I have nothing but positive things to say about her. She understands that im afraid of needles and makes sure that im comfortable when giving blood. I really dont like going to the doctor's but she does her best to keep me comfortable and really appreciate that.
