I went to see Dr. Faucett because I have dealt with chronic right groin/hip pain for 16 years. I have been to several doctors to help alleviate the pain and make me more comfortable. Over the last year, I have had significant decreased mobility and at times severe difficulty walking. When I met with Dr. Faucett and he reviewed all of my history and imaging studies, he thought he could decrease my pain level which is at 7-8/10 by 50%. I had surgery 2 weeks ago. Today, I had a recheck appointment. Dr. Fossett has an excellent bedside manner. He is very attentive to your needs. He will review your medical history and perform his exam on you, and then give you his opinion. He ask you what questions you have and is very attentive to listen to you, and will answer your questions and any concerns you may have about your condition. I do not know how everything will turn out, but based on today’s recheck and my progress in physical therapy I am optimistic. At the 6 week recheck I am doing better. I am finally off crutches. I have been using crutches since August 2006. My pain level is coming down gradually; it is now at a 6. I will update this post as time progresses.

Dr. Faucett and his team are fantastic, I would recommend this practice to anyone needing an orthopedic surgeon. My surgery changed my life; I’m able to do everything I used to do before, and more. I’m very impressed and pleased.

Dr. Faucett operated on my left hip earlier this year to repair labrum and correct hip dysplasia/impingement. The procedure went very well with minimal pain and so far full recovery. Will be having 2nd procedure on other hip some time in the future. Highly recommended; previous doctors had looked at my MRIs and X-rays and failed to give me proper diagnosis of the full problem with my hips.

Doctors who really care!!

I had a right hip labral tear repair back in April 2021 and I must say that I have never met a physician quite like Dr. Faucett. His caring nature, attention to detail, calm demeanor, communication style and bed-side manner were superb. Being a healthcare professional myself, I quietly assess my patient/provider relationships to make sure it's a good fit for my needs, and I can guarantee you will not find another orthopedic surgeon like Dr. Faucett. His staff go the extra mile to make sure you are well taken care of and all the "T"s are crossed and "I"s are dotted. The plan of care and my treatment recommendations were thorough, straightforward and easy to understand. His pre and post-op care app (called "MyRecovery") was unbelievably helpful with communicating my healing progress and tracking my return to function. It was a long, daunting process, but his overall care, from start to finish, was excellent. Hand's down, I will recommend him to ANYONE that needs specialized orthopedic care in the future. From the bottom of my right hip and heart, thank you, Dr. Faucett and all the staff at the Orthopedic Center. You all are amazing!

These doctors are the best in their specialties in the greater Washington Metropolitan Area. The office works well with a kind front desk. I highly recommend this group.

Inexperienced surgeon with an ego, who failed to diagnose and correct own mistakes. Everything up to the surgery went fine. However, after surgery, my wife couldn't pick up my medication because prescription was sent to wrong pharmacy. She had to endure pain until meds were ready for pickup. Issues after surgery were not promptly addressed and access to questions after surgery is via emails only. She experienced a complication and had to see another surgeon, because Dr. Faucett would not see her sooner. The complication had to be fixed by another surgeon. We both shared the experience with all work colleagues, friends and family members. This physician should be audited by medical board.

Dr. Faucett and team were excellent! I had a labral tear repair after a year of pain. Post op pain was minimal and I have been making excellent progress back to full function of my hip. Recovery and PT plan have been terrific. Very happy I decided to go with Dr. Faucett for the surgery.

Dr. Faucett has performed two surgeries for me within the last year, a total knee replacement (left leg) and then a reattachment of a fully torn quadriceps tendon (right leg). As a returning customer, I am happy to say that both surgeries went well, and I am on my way to recovery and will soon be participating in the outdoor activities that I love. In particular, I was impressed that Dr. Faucett returned my call on a weekend after I ruptured my tendon and had me in surgery only a few days later! Overall, Dr. Faucett’s team has been professional and attentive, and they have literally gotten me back on my feet.
