If you're looking for a doctor with great bedside manner, and one who will all that he possibly can to assure that you're in the best health, Dr. Sean Whelton is the doctor for you.

He saw my teen when she was in a flare and we were able to get in quickly with him. We had to wait for a whole hour before being called in. But he was thorough and I liked that he listened to my daughter instead of talking down to her like some other doctors did. He is compassionate and was able to adjust her meds to bring down the flare. Great doc! I just wish we didn’t have to walk so far inside the building to get to his office- when arthritic people already have trouble walking it seems cruel to make them walk so far!

Dr Welton is a most attentive and caring physician, his bed side manners and Dr /patient relation skills are superior. He is very responsive to patient questions and concerns. He is readily accessible to calls and emails. I have been a patient of Dr Welton for 17 years and I have the fullest confidence in his knowledge and expertise in the field of medicine and Rheumatology.

He is the best doctor. He is calm and takes his time with patient. Just visiting him takes half of the problem away. I would highly highly recommend him.

I have been with this practice for probably ten years. I researched until I found the top researcher sites for my condition. I owe my health to my "All Star Cast" at Georgetown. Dr. Whelton is thorough, professional, personable and always friendly. A rare gem. I appreciate getting a thorough understanding of what's going on, even when there are no clear and easy answers. He is responsive and returns my messages quickly. I cannot say that for many other physicians. His staff is amazing, also. They always take care of me and I rarely have any issues getting what I need. I have had zero issues with this practice in more than ten years.

He seemed nice, but did not admit to what he doesn't know. He is a little arrogant at times too. The other rheumatologists have more experience in his office, so maybe go with them.

It took a long time to get an appointment, but I can see why. He took his time asking me many questions about my condition. I'm pretty healthy and I was impressed with how many lines of inquiry he took to make sure I didn't have a named auto-immune disorder. I asked a lot of questions, and it was really nice to get thorough explanations. Total bonus: he's funny.

He's the best of the best compared to 4 other Rheumatologists. I wish all Dr.'s could have his knowledge, understanding and wisdom. I'm thankful he's taking care of me.
