Dr. Hashemi is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He told me In the first consultation that he would do anything he had to to help me get back to my life. Thanks Dr. hashemi, and the rest of the team at Nerve Bone and joint institute I’m back on my feet and living my best life

I got hurt on a Thursday evening and was told I'd have an appointment Friday morning. I made 4 phone calls, sent 3 emails, and never heard anything. Monday morning I got a call that I needed to be at my appointment by 10am that day. So off I went in a hurry. This guy made me wait in the waiting room for two hours. There were no other people in the office. Zero patients in the building. He saw me for ten minutes. He spent the first five of those telling me how good he was and how lucky I was he could take me. I had nipped a bit of the tip of my finger off. He did not even unwrap the bandage to see the wound. He did not look at the x-rays I brought. He told me I needed a surgery (to sew the finger to my palm) and that someone would get in touch in the hour to schedule it. I had to make 3 follow up calls and still go nowhere. I gave up, found another doctor, got seen, and was in a treatment plan before I heard back about my "necessary" surgery. The treatment? A little lotion on the woun
I had a bad thoracic outlet 1st rib resection at georgtown a while back. After the surgery there was nerve damage. Shar was the only doc who would take the time to diagnose and treat my symptoms. All the other docs just turned me down. A few days ago I had neurogenic tos surgery from Shar and I'm already feeling better. If you feel like all hope is lost than I would definitely see Dr. Hashemi. He is absolutely the best doctor!

Dr. Hashemi is amazing. He treats every patient like a person and not their disorder. He takes time to get to know you, understand how your issues affect your life, and develops a plan. It took a year to find him, and in 9 months, my daughter has made more progress than in the preceding year. He is always available, and is really just an amazing doctor. We are blessed to have found him.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I am shocked. I have been a nurse for 30 years, and am quite picky when it comes to health care providers. Do we have to wait to be seen for our appointments? Sometimes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. A year and 10 different doctors and multiple tests and treatments left us with-yes, there was something wrong with my daughter, but no, they didn't know how to fix her. We went to a neurosurgeon who sent us to Dr. Hashemi. Dr. Hashemi is amazing. He treats every patient like a person and not their disorder. Hashemi only cares about doing surgery. He makes it seem like you’re the only person he’s worried about and he looses sleep over your case but it’s not true. I have traveled from far to see him and had to get on a plane to get there and back in the same day and he doesn’t care. We have almost missed our flights because he had us waiting so long. We had to fly back out for tests because he wouldn’t let me do them in my hometown. His wife injected who knows what into me countless times. It’s just all a plot to do surgery and make a buck.
We were referred to dr Hashemi for my daughter who was having horrible headaches and muscles spasms in neck and back following cervical fusion. She was on 6 different muscle relaxers and headaches were preventing her from even getting out of bed. Dr Hashemi was able to perform an occipital neurectomy within a week of referral and my daughter felt immediate relief and was headache free from the moment she woke up in recovery. The following week he performed brachial plexus decompression and within a week post op the spasms are already 75percent improved. He is more than an amazing surgeon, he is truly one of the most caring, compassionate doctors out there. He went above and beyond to provide exceptional care. I can’t say enough wonderful things about dr Hashemi and the entire staff. He has given my daughter her life back and for that we will be forever grateful!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
