The was quick and informative

The office staff is very courteous and efficient. The lobby and doctors office is clean. The doctors themselves are empathic and listens to their patients needs. I would and have recommended this office.

I just love this man/doctor, he takes the time to get to know his patients, I was in his iffy on 12/5/22 and my blood sugar had started to drop he came in the exam room and looked at me and said something's not right, I said what was going on and he ran and came back with a pack of Oreo cookies 😋, just the best 😃😃

Have now had 3 visits to this Dr & left each time with a less than favorable feeling. I am sure he is a competent surgeon, but an absolute nightmare to visit for follow ups. Had appointments scheduled months in advance & his office calls at 5pm on Friday saying they need prior authorization for insurance & they didn’t hear back from insurance co. That they called 5 minutes ago. I have to change my schedule, because the office waited for the absolute last minute to seek out prior authorization. After my wife’s surgery, i had zero follow up from Dr Abramowitz or his staff on my wife’s condition. I was only informed an update by the floor nursing staff & that was like pulling teeth. For the follow up appointment- waited close to 2 hours after appointment time to see the doctor. The 2nd follow up last week, i saw him in the hall & asked if he was coming in to see us & he said he would be right in. He then sent one of his students. He couldn’t even be bothered to come in himself to give us follow up care. I am DONE with this doctor. 90 minutes each way to get to hospital office, wait 2 hours there, to be seen for a 30 second appointment with a student? I dont think so!! My suggestion, if looking for a vascular surgeon & you want some communication?? Look ELSEWHERE!!

I met Dr. Steven Abramowitz from MedStar Health in Washington, DC today for a consultation about an upcoming procedure for the first time. I immediately felt at ease and was impressed on the explanation about test and a plan for same day surgery. The PA and staff were companionate and knowledgeable about the policy and procedures that the Doctor wanted. Anyone who needs a vascular specialist and has to travel beyond your State make sure, the referral is with Dr. Abramowitz. I look forward to reporting the outcome of my procedure FEELING POSITIVE!! Dr. Abramowitz sent me to the hospital for a CT scan, with no additional directions. When I returned, he was gone for the day, the scan performed wasn’t correct. The CT office closed, and there wad much confusion over how radiology was going to proceed. At that time, I left to go to my home hospital, Frederick Health Hospital’s ER. They examined me, spoke to the MedStar radiologist, gave me pain meds and referred me to Horizon Vascular Specialists in Frederick. Also, Dr. Abramowitz hadn’t returned 3 emails concerning tests on my legs months earlier. I do not anticipate returning.
