List of The Washington Pain Center: John Dombrowski's Reviews
This doctor is negligent. For some reason, he does not think CDC guidelines and the mandatory mask mandate apply to him. Having COVID antibodies is completely irrelevant. He sees patient without wearing a mask, without taking their temperatures and without allowing social distancing. When I kindly asked him to wear a mask, he sighed and rolled his eyes at me. He then came back wearing a mask that was only partially tied and not secured properly. His office is absolutely minuscule and he cares significantly more about making money than he does his patients’ care. He is running an injection clinic, not a pain management facility. Every other word out of his mouth has to do with money. Don’t bother bringing any previous records, as he won’t take the time to read them, he’s too busy shuffling patients in and out all day long. I have reported him to the DC HRLA given his complete disregard for covid safety protocols. He made a joke about paying for positive reviews, which unfortunately seems to be true. Avoid him at all costs, he’s arrogant and self-serving.
It's so difficult to find one-on-one, personalized, human-oriented care. Dr. Dombrowski does just that. Love him!
I came to see Dr. Dombrowski for pain and depression. I was prescribed ketamine for depression/pain. Almost immediately my depression started to go away and Dr. Dombrowski is always fun and cordial to talk to. Very happy with my experience.

The visit was wonderful, the personnel was fantastic and the Doctor wasextraodinaire. The perfect office all around!!
One of the best pain doctors. You’ll be more informed and cared by Dr. Dombrowski unlike any other doctor, you’ll get great results towards and be pain-free.
Dr. Dombrowski knows what he is doing and, along with being a remarkable specialist in reducing pain, he is equally as personable and interested in his patience. I could not recommend a better physician in helping to reduce pain and discomfort. Patrick
The details of my experience with Doctor Dombrowski are difficult to put into words. I have seen doctors from all over the country—Mayo Clinic, Rochester; Johns Hopkins; and many well-credentialed MDs all from all over the DC Metro Area. In short, not one of the other doctors I have seen compares to Dr. D. in any of the myriad qualities I seek to find with a physician.Dr. Dombrowski does not run this practice to become cash rich. If that were the case, he wouldn’t accept nearly every insurance provider and welcome and encourage any patient in pain to his practice. That said, this is not the doctor you go to see to get what you ‘want’; you go to Dr. Dombrowski to get what you ‘NEED’. He will not write an opioid Rx and shove you out the door; and he will not recommend you get your head sliced open and nerves cut (such barbaric surgeries I’ve endured). Instead, he will listen to you, then layout a treatment roadmap that includes treatments you have never tried; THEN, he gives you his personal cell—not a business phone—so you can reach him directly for absolutely any questions, guidance, concerns, etc.I must’ve been the most difficult patient he’s ever had walk into his office. He handled it with a cool head and a lot of sincere compassion. For the first time in two decades, I feel I met the doctor who is truly willing to fight—right along with me—for my life. Thanks, Doctor Dombrowski. Truly. Thank you.
Listens intently and 'hits the mark' whenever necessary; akin to a miracle worker
I have been a patient for years and the doctor has provided real relief. But, just had an appointment this week and the doctor did not wear a mask. Hard to believe from a medical professional

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
