Best optometry practice around. Every part of the experience is so pleasant, from the bright, clean office, to the friendly front desk staff and the timely appointment itself. Dr. Lamothe is incredibly kind and friendly, communicative, thorough, and listens well; a lifelong provider, for sure! Could not recommend more!

Best ophthalmologist experience I’ve ever had. No wait, so I was in and out quickly, but the exam itself was very thorough. The doctor and staff are super friendly and great at explaining things. I’ve definitely found my new eye doctor in dc.

This is the first review I've ever written, but I must say I was very much taken aback by the customer service here. My contact lens exam was standard last year (Nov 2022), though when I asked for an adjustment since my prescription strength was drastically reduced per the doctor (and I ended up not see clearly), the office decided to stop taking my call, and sent me an unkind text not to book (while still asking I call to make my annual appointment - odd!). In retrospect, I noticed this discourteous attitude when I declined to place a year-long contact order immediately after leaving my first appointment. I'd strongly recommend anyone not wishing to experience the rude and unpleasant experience of this eye healthcare provider get in touch with many, many of the wonderful optometrists office in the DC area instead. I know I'll be returning to my trusted one after this, and letting any friends in the same boat know to steer clear of this office.

Dr. Lamothe is the best eye doctor I have ever had. He really cares about your overall heath and how it relates to your vision. His staff is also great. Love the office environment and great location just a block away from Metro.

Big fan of Dr. Lamothe. Smoothly run practice, courteous staff and a nice office, and he acts like an owner (since he is). I also appreciated their attention to helping me optimize my care for my vision benefits.

Dr. Lamothe is absolutely fantastic! It is my third time seeing him and each time he makes sure that you feel comfortable with your prescription and takes the time to answer any questions.
