List of Sudhir Rao Md's Reviews
I had complications from a spine surgery with another doctor. Dr. Rao was able to fit me in to his busy schedule to perform an epidural blood patch to close a tear in my dura. I had been suffering for 3 weeks and when Dr. Rao heard this he got me in for this procedure ASAP. While there his staff made sure I was comfortable. I need to be lying down or the leak causes a severe headache. Unfortunately my issue was complicated but Dr. Rao, Nurse Christine and Nurse Maggie made sure I was aware of everything going on. They talked with me, held my hand, and really comforted me while doing this tricky procedure (tricky due to location of the tear and needing my blood for the patch but I’m a very hard stick). I would highly recommend this practice. If, God forbid, I ever need pain management again, I would certainly go back to Dr. Rao.
Wait an hour to find out no one knows how backed up they are. How about reschedule and take another day of work ??? Some of us have jobs they have to go to and bills to pay but they just don't care
Dr. Rao has performed 2 procedures on me and has been the BEST manners, made sure every step I was comfortable. He has taken my daily pain from overwhelming to slight discomfort (I am not done with step-by-step procedures yet). I recommend him and his nurse practioner 1000%. She has been managing my daily pain. Thank you to entire office staff for courteous manner towards me when I have been at my lowest. Thanks Again
Horrible practice that cares only about money rather than the patient. Staff is rude and offensive. Go elsewhere.
I don't know what to think except that Dr Rao thought I was faking it. He had a strange attitude towards me. I went elsewhere to other doctors. I have since had a double fusion and many radio frequency ablations on my lower back. I needed help and it was obvious that I was not going to receive it from him.
Dr. Rao cares about his patients--is very knowledgeable--fully explains situation
Christina was super amazing
In the 3 years as a patient of Dr. Rao, it is my opinion that he is a phenomenal and extraordinary doctor. He keeps up to date with the latest treatment options, will sacrifice time no matter how many are in the waiting room to listen, and to explain. Dr. Rao has treated multiple patients with rare illnesses, and shows more empathy than any Dr. I’ve met. While in the waiting room, I have met many over the years who travel from states away to see him, as they have a rare disease and cannot find another like him. He will allow my input regarding treatment options, in working with my Neurologist to make decisions regarding my ongoing care. He is willing to help me achieve the best quality of life possible in my condition. After multiple hospitalizations over the last 3 years, released after 3-4 days with no change from the symptoms that had landed me there, Deb Rao was able to adjust my treatment and control the symptoms. Several staff members in Dr Rao’s offices stand out for their empathy and care they provide. There have been a few instances that I have not had a good experience with staff during phone calls to/from the office.
Dr. Rao was very professional and thorough. The back pain I was experiencing was debilitating and after going to Dr. Rao for a few months, I have my active life back.
He has been the most caring and professional doctor I have ever been to. Top notch employees and staff. I would have a different perspective on life if it were not for him!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
