Dr.Manieri successfully repaired a femoral hernia on my 95 year old mother. It was a challenging surgery in several ways. Dr. Manieri is not only very competent, he is also personable, and responsive when we had questions or concerns. His office staff is friendly and accommodating. We are very pleased that the Emergency Department at Beebe in Lewes recommended him.

Dr. Manieri, he is really a great doctor with a great personality and heart, I was lucky to find him, he really cares about my situation, you don't often see many doctors who really care about your conditions, he was there in my gallbladder surgery emergency, and he was really incredible, my recovery was excellent, he was always there for any concerns, I recommend him 100%.

It was my good fortune to have Dr. Manieri prove my surgery, a day after I was it was determined that I had a gallstone blockage. He performed the surgery efficiently, and he followed the surgery with bedside checkups to ensure all was going well with the recovery. He was congenial and answered all my concerns about diet needs, exercise and the speed at which I should pace myself during recovery. I am very lucky and grateful to have had such a surgeon assigned to my case.

I met Dr Manieri at Beebe Hospital ER, when I had an acute surgical abdomen, a small bowel obstruction. He had the skills, and personality to communicate the surgery needed, and giving me a choice between a larger surgery, and a smaller surgery, with his guidance I chose. He patiently followed me in the hospital for days, to make sure things are working well. I’d go back to him tomorrow, If he would allow. Just to explain my point of view, I started working in an ER at age 18, finish my career as a podiatrist. Well I am not a general surgeon by any means, I’ve seen a lot of docs over the years and this physician is a very good one.

Dr M., I wanted to thank you again for “saving my life” and performing my emergency appendectomy the other night. When we briefly met prior to the surgery, you quickly but precisely explained what you intended to do and how you hoped to do it laparoscopically if at all possible. Even though my appendix had severely ruptured, you took the time and effort to do it laparoscopically. After surgery, you wasted no time informing my wife and reassuring her that all was well. My follow up in the hospital with your nurse practitioner was comforting, as she was very through with all the answers to my questions and her instructions pertaining to my release. Upon meeting you at your office later in the week, it was a true pleasure. The visit was timely, precise and extremely informative. Again, you made me feel comfortable before the surgery and just as comfortable at your office. Thanks again for all you did for myself and my family, you are a true professional . In this day and age it’s a wonderful feeling to know that people like yourself still do exist. Thank you for all you do !
