Claire M Capobianco's Online Review Report Card

Asked to arrive 20 minutes before my appointment. Was seen by doctor 1 hour and 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment, with no apology or reason given. And not happy with care given.

Totally happy with first encounter. Dr. Capobianco explained everything in detail ie possible future surgery may be necessary. Also, gave notes on how to combat irritation between toes and what to purchase. Every staff member was friendly and professional.

Very disappointing experience. Multiple stress fractures over the past five months, only answer thrown at me was to wear a surgical shoe. Had a followup scheduled for 4 weeks which I had to cancel for family emergency, had to wait another 4 weeks after that for 5 minutes of her time. Assistant asks all her questions with her back to you, Dr. Capobianco shrugs her shoulders and hands a sheet saying wear these shoes. I am a retired physician with Multiple Sclerosis (something I had to remind them of each time) and I know quality healthcare, this isn't it. Talk to your patients, do a thorough examination, help them with solutions not a copy of a page of shoes. Everyone is different and it is her job as a physician to know her patients and their needs not dismiss them in 5 minutes.

The visit overall was great. BUT, always a but. The paper works is beyond ridiculous! I realize it is motivated around the insurance/government requirements, but there has got to be a better way. May I suggest, if these forms are required, how about sending them in an electronic format to the the patient prior to their appointment date. The patient can fill them out before the appointment, saving time in the waiting room, and making it much easier for the staff to include them into the patient's record. One caution, the format must be such that it can be edited by the patient and returned to your office electronically. Electronic signatures will also need be accepted.

Dr Capobianco is an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable in her field of Podiatry. She is very thorough. I would highly recommend her.

Multiple stress fractures over past five months, every time I go in to see Dr. Capobianco all I see is the back of people's heads. The assistant asks questions with her back to you, Dr. Capobianco talks to you looking at the screen and dismisses all concerns. I am a retired physician, I know healthcare and this office does not provide quality healthcare by any stretch of the imagination.

Dr. capobianco helped me immensely! Very professional including staff. Immaculate facilities.

Dr. Claire Capobianco is primarily a surgeon. That's what she consistently recommends and the wounds under her care seem to remain "wounded" so that surgery seems like the only option. Having received a second and third opinion from other very reputable orthopedic surgeons, there are NO additional surgeries required for me. None would be in my best interest!

In Nov., 2015, I broke my ankle, and was seen by Dr. Capobianco the following day, which I truly appreciate. However, she did not order an MRI even after 6 months, and said that "there was no need, because she wouldn't do surgery unless my ankle were a lot worse." I got a 2nd opinion, having worn the boot for almost 6 months with no progress. The next surgeon ordered an MRI immediately; the tendon was shredded and torn and a piece of bone was broken off. He repaired it surgically & it is fine.

I would not recommend this doctor. I waited for almost two hours for my appointment. They forgot me in the waiting room. Once I was put in the patient room, I waited another 15 minutes. I left in frustration and did not even get to see the doctor. Will be searching for another foot doctor. And when I told the office to make sure they didn't charge me, they said they wouldn't because I wasn't a NO SHOW. The doctor was the only NO SHOW!
